You got me down 90% of the time with the beer thing Ty. AC went looking and dug up my pic, but I think she is scared from the journey. :D
It kind of paints a funny picture. I mean the shot of beer and those cheap googly eyes on it and a mouth at the bottom. Its like a cheap cartoon trying to promote drinking. That usually isnt the image in my head of you, but now that I think about it, thats what I picture. :D

I remember AC posting it, I then asked which one was you and she never answered. It was from the Harry Potter party?

EDIT-@Tam are you afraid of:
1)The Groin Grabber
2)The whip
3)Georgi, herself

Regardless, if you blame it on Ode, then you have nothing to fear.

LOL, esp. since your about to be face to face with her Tam :D

I wasn't in that Harry Potter thing, it was Mah and some of his friends....he just said that me and Ned were passed out off camera as a joke :D

Oh Ok. I thought that Mah actually came over to the states for that. That would be cool to meet Mah in person.

So I guess my image will still be a shot of beer with googly eyes and a mouth. :D

The groin grabber and the whip don't scare me, her Evil Plan (TM) maybe. But as BS said a face to face confrontation does make one behave ;)

As for blaming Odie, I have to face him too :D

@Tyb: so theoretically, you and the SYMers close (well, relatively close) could set up a meeting point somewhere in the middle, and all travel there to meet? That would be great! :D

ROFLMAO :D :D There is a pic of BS in the photo thread, somewhere.

Unfortunately I agree with you about news. I sometimes watch BBC news in the evening, but even if they are the best IMO, they too have annoyed me lately.

@BS: Mixing up directions? You are the kind of person one should guide live via mobile phone then :D

@Tammy: Georgi is as sharp IRL as here, so I wouldn't anger her unless I could put all the blame on Ode and run fast like hell! :D

Hello CE. :) I couldn't use a mobile phone, I have to drive with one hand and smoke with the other....I tried it once and set my hair on fire  :D

Maybe I should try to put a face in my avatar

@Tam, I doubt it would work anyway, Georgi would probably slaughter you both just to be sure she got the right one :D

Yes. That would be great. I think McBane could make the trek too, hes somewhere in Michigan. We would have to meet somewhere in Penncilvania or Maryland. But I would have to do absolutely no planning, because I love to wait for the last minute. That way, Im actually motivated to do something

LMAO :D  Don't you have a handsfree?

Yes, at least for a while so Tybaltus realises you have a face :D

@Tyb: Go for it! It's obviously feasible, so why not? I wish we could have a global SYM party, the problem is where...and who will pay for the damage after. :D

LOL :D Who knows what would happen if we all get together.

Well the big problem for me, is that I
a) have no money
b) have to go to college in September
c) am afraid of flying

So I would have to drive during one of my vacations and while everyone else is available too.

@Ty..I used to Live in Maryland.....I wonder sometimes how I ended up here

@CE, still no good, I wouldn't be able to hear a thing with the radio blasting anyway. :D

Maybe we could all meet in a neutral country, so no one is left behind facing deportation in the aftermath

Id be happy with Canada. But I dont think they are really nuetral.

You know, while I was stating the members who live in the USA, not one person occured to me from the western US. Now one came. Kayless is from Ankhorage. But I dont know any frequent posters from the west coast other than Kayless. Am I forgetting someone?

That's probably the major problem for most of us - flying overseas is not cheap, although you sometimes can get hold of very inexpensive tickets to some places, usually the major cities.

You afraid of flying? That's too bad, you are safer in a plane than in your car. :(

Ever tried a handsfree with 2 earphones? :D

Like Iceland, perhaps? :D Or Madagaskar?

I know. But I just feel uncomfortable in the air. If men were supposed to fly, we would have been made with wings. (Which would have been really cool if God gave us wings!)

But I generally like the idea of escaping an accident. Its funny. Ive studied all kinds of shipwrecks since I was in kindergarden. (Yes I studied the Titanic when I was in kindergarden-it was fun too!) and yet I have no fear of ships even though I have emersed myself about disasters of shipwrecks my entire life.
In a plane, if theres an accident, I have very little chance of survival. And that scares me. There are a few other small reasons, like Im a pessimist, and a couple others, that cause me to fear flight. This hasnt stopped me, though. I pushed myself to go to Panama, Aruba, Curucau, The Bahamas, and Bermuda twice. I didnt like the trip though.

unless you play an instrument.

I was thinking maybe Jamaica. :D Do we have any Jamaicans on the board?

It's no use CE, I am just technologicaly impaired. My headbanging would dislodge the earphones. :D

besides, If I am driving, my concentration is on my cigarrette, the bottle of Coke in my lap, playing with the radio dial, keeping one eye out for johnny Law, and the other out for the scantily clad ladies who are on the side of the road. I am barely paying attention to the road as it is

Asia is cheap place to travel to, wouldn't mind popping in to see Mah one day ;)

I'll take BS advice to heart, no teasing early on :D

EDIT @ BS

So I guess you tend to drive on straight roads, *wonders how he deals with intersections, curved roads etc  *

Interesting that you have studies shipwrecks intensly but still doesn't fear travelling by boat - perhaps you should start to study aircrashes? :D It is good though that you don't let yourself be hampered by you fear of flying. Did you know fear of flying is one of the most common phobias? And I mean phobia, not fear, phobia as in people starting to sweat just by the thought and refusing to fly even in travelling by land or sea takes 2 weeks longer.

Haven't seen any Jamacians. No people from Western US either, in a long time. Jamacia sounds good! :D

Aw, what a pity, that means I have to get over to you if I am ever to see you :D

@Tammy: I was in Thailand a few years ago, and I really liked it. South East Asia in general is a very nice area, people are very friendly, the food is delicious (best in the world IMO) and there are mountains, rainforest and beautiful beaches. My hubby has never visited the region, so if Mahar is still there in a couple of years or so, we will certainly hunt him down! :D

Well I plan on going there in the next two years, whatever country Mah is in I'll visit. They are all amazing countries and I would love to visit the lesser known parts, already experienced the Bali tourist venues and I hated it.
