@Flibbs Youre right
![Eek! :eek:](./images/smilies/)
so many strange happenings at SYM lately....
![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/)
Things proceed smoothly. EXCEPT the stupid radio station decided to cancel their usual Friday 80's night.
![Mad :mad:](./images/smilies/)
Usually they air 5 hours of 80's music and I always tune in, but they cancelled it tonight.

@Tyb
Yes I finished my education about 3 months ago.
BTW have you seen Zoolander. I just saw it tonight and it has some of the "worst" 80`s music in it.
It`s where I got the last part of my sig from.

And yes, some of these loons want me to take up Sleepy's mod position.

I actually think I saw that "alleged"
smilie but now it`s gone forever.
I do think you would make a great moderator for SYM. You always seem to keep your cool and are really helpful when it comes to tech stuff. But it`s your decision.

And I do thank you for your support. You should know by now that everyone here is slightly crazy though, myself included.
I generally don't bother listening to the radio anymore. I just mp3'ed most of my CD collection instead. No ads, no stuff you don't want to listen to. Much better IMO.

If Buck asked I probably would take it too. Good to know I'm somewhat respected here then, eh?

Don`t trust me on 80`s music. I don`t like it at all. I need some hardcore techno or jungle, but since you like it you should see it, but only for the music. The rest sucks. It`s supposed to be a comedy, but it only made me smile 2 times.

Oh. Of course. I knew that already. But who better to be a co-leader (along with T', fable, and Buck) to us than you?
Yeah. Ive thought about buying an MP3, but the way technology moves, I bet MP3's will be outdated and they will be replaced with something more groundbreaking. Until then, Im happy with the radio, CDs, sterio, and a Discman.
@oki Im still kicking myself for not copying that smilie-I was there when he posted it first.

You do realise if you'd gotten a screenshot of that you could have sold it to the tabloids for millions.

@ Baron No I`ll be in the control room with the computers or taking rounds checking that everything is ok
BTW You should steal a quote from Dragonwench`s sig.
It would suit you perfectly.
If I remember correctly it`s something like this:
Don`t meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup

I prefer the slightly more medieval version:
Thou shalt not argue with dragons, for thou art crunchy and goest well with cheese

@ Flibble, Radio isn't what it used to be. My son and I share the same music interests. But I have a hard time listening to the radio when he's with me because of the occassional sexual innuendo and the constant shock jock mentallity that seems to have become the radio norm.

Same thing here (except for the son bit. no kids here). Also most of the music doing the rounds here is just rubbish. I have an MP3 player in my car too, so I can listen to what I want while driving too.

Thought about it but ketchup would have to replaced with "taco sauce". Plus I don't want to plagiarize

The only time I listen to the radio is when Im in the car or when its 80's night. And 80's nights on the local stations tend to be clean of all the dirty talk shows or sexual comments. Its just a good dj, talking to callers-asking for requests and playing some good 80's music. Its a really good set up. Thats why I was so dissappointed to hear it got cancelled tonight. I know what you two are talking about though. Ive clipped by some radio stations, where they laugh and talk about the most immature things. Things too crude to mention on the forum. Radio media has been driven to the gutter. And I hate it. They think theyre funny when theyre just stupid.
