I find Football is great to play, but I can rarely watch an entire game. It's a shame, cause I like the game and all... Oh well, with my own season starting up soon, I won't be able to watch much anyway....

@Aegis, yeah, but it's all us geezers got left I haven't played steady in years. This is more a basketball state I always wanted to coach though, maybe I can convince a high school to fire their coach...

Coaching kids can be brutal, I think. Football can become a complicated games when looking at matchups and kids just want to play the game. If you want simplicity, you still have to toughen them up and get them to do drills, but once you get to the games, its all fun and the drills become worth it.

The first step to become a coach, though, is indeed, replacing the first coach, and most likely it is a teacher that is the coach, so it would be hard to un-seat a teacher/coach. I mean, youd be a stranger to all the students and the school, and obviously theyd rather keep the familiar face.

@BS: Just show up the first day of practice with a clipboard, and start yelling at the players. they won't know the difference...

All the games have now gone final with all the scores staying the same except one:

Thats the only score change-Philedelphia got 6 points-must have tried for the 2 pointer at the end and must have failed-but Im only assuming this.

@Aegis-Good point. I had no idea who my freshman football coach was-I hardly even cared, either.

At the school I used to play for, we had a coach we all called Adolph. He was German, and yelled a lot. We had some fun. then he snapped, and dropped one of our biggest players (in equipment at the time) with one pucnh. we respected him after that.

Well, I coached softball for awhile, but I don't really care for the game. football has always been my thing. And it irks me that the coach here sucks

Well, Softball just have the same rage as Football, or professional Golf.
