That does seem to be true a lot with dogs and cats in the same house. My cat is afraid of everything, except for our dog.

A friend of mine, many years ago, had this really cool big dog. Then they got a kitten. Less than a week later, their dog ate their kitten.

@SS - ate the cat?!? Did they not consider the possibility of this happening if they were to bring a little kitty into the home of a big dog?

Years ago I used to have a huge Dobermann. There was a major commotion from the back garden one night...running outside I discovered my poor old Dobe backed up and yelping in a corner at the mercy of a hissing spitting pi**ed off cat!

He lost a lot of street cred that night - but in his defence he had never encountered a cat before... and his first encounter happened to be a huge persion with all it's hair on end - and in the dark

They probably hadn't. See, we had one of the pups of that dog at the time, plus about 20 cats, about 18 of which were kittens. The puppy was only about a month old and already about 3-4 feet tall and weighed more then than I do now. The puppy got along fine with our cats and kittens, so they probably figured that the puppies mother would get along fine with a kitten. They were so wrong.

Refresh usually works to make the page load faster. However, I had been on that page so long with just the "GameBanshee | Forum Rules | Report Forum Violations | Send Feedback" at the top of the page visible that I had forgotten what page I was on and hit refresh.

You can't prove anything regarding my post count increase rate.

i think for the first fight in my life i actually did more dodging than hitting. i'll let ya know how bad i look come morning, but right now i think i should just have a fat lip as the only visible mark

Four guys? I'm almost envious.

don't be too envious...i just brushed my teeth and WHEWWWW doggy did it sting like a b!tch. i now think there may be a bit more swelling than just a mere fat lip tomorrow.
but i've had worse, especially considerign it was 4 guys...really only 2 were factors.
now i just gotta play it up for sympathy these next couple days...

As I said, I'm almost envious. Definitely not of the pain/injuries, but of the number of guys.

Was there a particular reason they assaulted you or were they just looking for a fight and you got lucky enough to get picked?

admittedly, i should have kept my mouth shut at a certain point. it all centered on them pulling up in the parkign lot and dumping about 6 bags of garbage from their trucks intot he neighboring lot, even though there was a dumpster less than 20 feet away. i may not be some tree hugger, but i fail to see any point in this. then, words were exchanged, blah blah blah, i was focusing on the guy i thought was the main threat when POP! got hit by a different guy. the guy i thought was trouble followed suit, and the melee began. one of the four actually broek it up and got them to go inside. i got on my cell and did the b1tch thing and called the cops...i'm too old for this crap...spent the next hour ID'ing and talking with the cops. good times! good times!
