Your cynism is certainly not contagious to me, anyway But on a serious note, I actually believe SYM to be fairly representative, and I expect people here to be equally trustworthy to people IRL. Maybe I'm naive, I've never posted on a message board before, nor have I had any "net-friends". From friends, I've heard both horror stories and the opposite

It would actually be interesting to make a serious personality study of the SYM population and see if it differs from the general population in any way

I actually believe SYM to be fairly representative, and I expect people here to be equally trustworthy to people IRL
