"How should I know? You think the introductions came before or after the death threats? Hell, you're a state marshall. There must be a lot of outlaws with a vendetta against you.... The one who held the gun though, he was mean-lookin'. All they said was to act normal or Dubya there was gonna pull that trigger. That was it. I never saw them again, 'cept down the barrel of a gun. I could see him, from the stage. 'Course I wanted to signal you or somethin', tell you to leave, but I couldn't. And all the while you were sittin' there with the proudest look on your face, your girl up there on stage."
Who, me?!?
After getting his drink. Darkpoet left the saloon, heading back to his store. Three riders came ridng in, watching them out of the corner of his eye. He knew who they were, they would reconize him soon.
"Hey Poet! You killed our brother, we aim to kill you."
Darkpoet drawing, jumped to his left, firing three shots. Emptying the saddles. Getting up, he replaced his cartridges and walked into the store.

Vivalie heard the shots outside her store and dived under a yard of fabric without stopping to think better of it.
The shooting sounds soon stopped, but just as she was about to try to find her way out of the purple roll, the sounds of a door moving and footsteps echoed through the store. She managed to get out of the heavy fabric with only minor curl damage, but by the time she was out Darkpoet was standing over her with another odd expression on his face.
"I was um...just making sure it was dusted and ready to be shelved."
With Darkpoet's help she stood and tried to kick the cloth off of her feet. Putting a hand on his arm she whispered into his ear while looking at a certain dressing room.
"I think there's something odd about the person putting on the tutu, would you check on the woman please?"

Darkpoet look at Viv, his eyes widened.
"You want me, to look at that woman. What's wrong, she grab the wrong size? Or not the right color? You know a man could get hanged, for looking at a woman undressing. You trying to get me hanged?"
Viv stomped her foot and walked over to the dressing room. She knocked on the door.
"Miss, is there anything I can help you with? Hello Miss?"
Viv, opened the door. There was no one there. She walk to a chair and sat down, looking confused.

{OOC Yeow! Okay, dramatic irony, let's see if I can do this...BTW, I do suppose we could all move to Utah...

Loner, realizing there wasn't much else she could do for Brink till Waverly arrived with the medicine (again, hoping it would be legitimate stuff), headed over to the theatre. She knew there would be a performance that night, and it was high time she actually spoke to this Gigi...
Loner, realizing there wasn't much else she could do for Brink till Waverly arrived with the medicine (again, hoping it would be legitimate stuff), headed over to the theatre. She knew there would be a performance that night, and it was high time she actually spoke to this Gigi...
Loner had an uneasy feeling, as she sat in the theatre drinking a strong dark beer. A figure came in and sat beside her. When she looked, she saw a man in a long coat, with his hat pulled down over his face. He lifted the hat slightly and winked.
"Aaron?" she said. "What -- what are you doing here?"
"Making the rounds, keeping close to things, keeping the lines open, like we agreed," he replied. He had cut off his long hair; he always found it easier to pass for a full-blooded white man that way. "Find out anything?..."
Loner sighed. "Something's wrong with the sheriff," she answered. "I left Bucho with him, Big Bad Bob went for help..." She explained what had happened.
"This Vehemence Town ain't no dull place, is it?" said Aaron. He hesitated a moment. "Is uh...everything else all right?"
"I don't know."
Aaron nodded. "Well, I hope it is. Really, I do. And if not...all I can say is, you are one of the most unforgiving people I've ever known..."
He got up. "Well, like I said, jsut wanted to check in...I'll tell the boys what you said about the sheriff."
"Aren't you staying for the show?" asked Loner.
"Nah, I'm uh...on duty...I guess." He gave her another wink, and was gone.

Darkpoet felt bad for Viv, he went in back and made her some tea. He took her hand and lead her over to a chair. As she sat down he brought the tea to her.
"Viv dear, take a break, you are working to hard. Maybe she left when you were in the back? Don't worry about it, enjoy your tea. You like the roses? Is that enough or do we need more?"
