Suppose I may as well tell you...I was hoping that frogus might try a move into Venice, but he's either way too smart to try that or too stup..overloaded with other matters to think of such a halfway decent move. Then, when he was safely esconced in Venice, I would have been free to destroy that army this turn due to having nowhere to retreat to, and as he doesn't have any home centres left, he can't rebuild It doesn't matter, as it turns out, because things have come together quite nicely to allow me to nuke it this turn anyway.

Yes, I was quite suprised to see you didnt defend venice. But I guess that explains it.
