another idea: in kotor 1 and 2, the dark side of the force never really tried to seduce me to the dark side. maybe they think of a system in kotor 3 that the DS will hardly trie to seduce you, and that it might even be hard NOT to be seduced to DS. and vice-versa.

that sounds like a good idea, a lot more temptations for the player cos its too easy to become light
Although, finding the rakatan planet would require finding the 5 star maps again or having one of revans old companions on your team, this would probably have to be either Bastilla, Carth*.
*having T3M4 and HK-47 again could be a little repetitive for some people, Canderous (Mandolore) was used in both games and would probably be too busy rebuilding the mandolorian clans, Mission can be killed by a dark side player as can zaalbar, Juhani and Jolee.
Why does it have to be a member of the original party? Many things have been reported through romour not to mention that there was two entire fleets at that battle. Ex-Sith would know and so would Republic survivors.
Canderous is Mandalore. At almost every conversation that wasn't between you and him it is slightly realized. I am suprised that HK or T3 don't recognize him and vica versa. I may have missed something but I don't remember it happening.
I think this game needs to tie up lose ends. I think and hope you all agree. Before it was all about forgotten (memory loss) but this one should exploit forgotten ancient knowledge. I think that they should keep the same game style they have used so far but just make the game different. Like new bad guys, more expansive planets, more detailed side-quests, dynamic party, customization and a better story. KOTOR I's story kicked. It was far better overall in the layout and telling of the story then KOTOR II but KOTOR II had better customization, gameplay, etc. I think they need to adapt KOTOR III more to taking the best of these aspects.

This post is in another thread but this is where the post belongs.
I would like to start out as either a master with one padawan or a padawan with a master. Either one i'd like the padawan to go through the entire game as a padawan and then at the end of the game the padawan becomes a jedi knight or sith.

i want to go to the outer rim in kotor III, the system in kotor 1 and 2 is getting bored to me, i would really like just to go to the outer rim. and not staying the whole game in this stupid system.
what i would like too, is that you can hold a double double-bladed lightsaber.

1.Weren't most of the worlds from 1 and 2 in the outer rim?
2.Do you mean a db saber in each hand, or some kind of 4 bladed saber? Either way wouldn'd be very practical.

Not necessarily on the former. Wielding two staffs have been done before and too great effect, but took great skill from the wielder him- or herself, in real life. The latter, though, I have to admit, would be bit impractical at best.

1. i dont think so, maybe malachor 5, but for the rest not.
2. in each hand a double-bladed lightsaber.

the system used in kotor1 and 2 is an outer rim system. for example, telos was an experiment and if it worked they would try the same on the other outer rim planets that were nearly destroyed by the sith. onderon is also mentioned to be on the very edge of the republic space, and malachor definately is.

Even though i wouldn't use them i could see having a double bladed lightsaber in each hand, i mean i'd have to try it out but probably just the once.
And i didn't mean just two jedi in the crew when i said a master with one padawan or vise versa, i want other jedi in the crew just not all jedi (jedi knights, no other padawans or masters).

Okay, i was just doing some idle flipping through the Wookiepedia (the name still cracks me up), and i found a few things i'd love to see in KOTOR III. I apologize if these have already been mentioned:
1) Dvakvar Grahrik:
http://starwars.wikicities.com/wiki/Dvakvar_Grahrk . Tell me this isn't a cool character idea. I would have loved to have had a character like that in my party. I was so disappointed to find out that he was replaced at the last minute by that wimp "The Disciple".
2) the Lightwhip:
http://starwars.wikicities.com/wiki/Lightwhip . This is a really cool weapon idea, that exists elsewhere in the Star Wars canon, so why not use it in KOTOR? It would be tough to animate properly, i suppose, but the 360 would be up to the task.
3) the lightsaber-nunchucks that Asajj Ventress uses in Battlefront are pretty cool too, and I'd love to see those in the game as well, just for variety. Check it out here:

Yes, they were. Manann might not have been, though, but Taris, Dantooine, Tatooine, Kashyyyk and the Builder homeworld definitely were. So were Telos, Peragus, Korriban, Malachor V, and Nar Shaddaa.

I Would like to see a plot more like the first, the second wasn't all the great. I mean who wasn't surprised in the first one when you turned out to be Revan. Also you fight more jedi in the first one. But I loved the fact you can make your companions jedi in the second one. But I think you should be able to let your droids like HK-47 use light sabers like Grievous, i think that would be awesome. I would also like to see more kinds of lightsabers, and up-gradeable stuff. More companions in your party would be cool too. I think it would be cool to see Revan, Bastila, Carth, and the Exile in the next one. I want to see the next guy you fight the people Kriea was talking about that revan went to fight, and it end up being like the person who first created the sith teachings. Also i'd like to see Corusaunt, and most of the old planets from the games plus some new ones. I'm asking for a longer game with a few more twists

The comment about the droids using lightsabers got me thinking. Of course they can't because (I think) they are not alive so they can't wield the force to use the saber. Also someone can use a lightsaber as a mercenary because it was said that is just dangerous in untrained hands. Who says you have to be a Sith or a Jedi to be trained? Then you would not be a Jedi but be partially trained in their ways. I think that then you would try to learn more to try and become a better mercenary. You hear in your travels that both the Sith and Jedi are more or less ruined and seeking new apprentises to try and rebuild. You go to a Sith academy to learn more. You get initially trained and informed and hear rumours of Darth Revan returning from beyond the outer rim. You offer your skills to your master to try and track Revan down in the process you come accross various groups of Jedi doing the same thing you are. You can then either kill them all or try to join them (as they try to recuit you). You obviously killing them won't be all that successful in getting more information from further Jedi or Jedi supporters you run into.
Eventually it leads to Revan comming back a changed (whatever (s)he was when they (s)he left) and trying to unite all force users to fight the TS. So reguardless of what path you start out as you still end up on a greater mission for Revan. So it would be more like if you stay Sith then you still have to work with Jedi anyway later and if you kill all the ones you see then you won't be able to recruit them into your campaign to defeat the True Sith. If you become a Jedi in the beginning you may or may not be able to keep the party you left the Sith with and/or recruit other Sith on a mixed Jedi campaign.

how come they can't, droids know not to damage them selves and can control themselves, why can't they if they extrensively programed to use them?

i think because they are stiff, they can't wield normal blades either. i think you need muscles to wield a melee weapon.

In Kotor III I think there needs to be a completely new hero/villain. This time around the game should be much longer with a wider range of planets to visit. Some planets could even be alignment based so as being evil and good allows different exploration options.
The game should start when the main character is a child say 5 years. This would be the tutorial part of the game much like fable. It would be good if the game started around the same time as Kotor 1 on taris even before it got messed up. During the tutorial you could even encounter carth, bastilla, mission or revan as they go through there adventure. The tutorial would end after the destruction of taris. What would make for an interesting Kotor experience would be if the main character was captured by the sith just before the planets destruction and brought up to be a sith. Alternatively choices in the tutorial could allow the child to be captured by the sith or escaping the planet with family. Although these choices would make one think the game is sending u in a direction early in the game they could simply be parts to the characters life with them being allowed to redeem themself or turn evil despite the early choice in life.
My main idea would be the character being raised as a sith and becoming a sith soldier/scoundre/scout in the outer rim 15 years later. It is at this point where choices can be made to truly determine your fate. after being trained by the sith the character sets out on his adventure. As the game progresses it is realised that the character has force potential and can choose to train as a jedi on dantooine or a sith on the new sith academy on korriban. Even still this wouldn't prevent the character from redeeming themselves.
This game should introduce a variety of new characters as well as use some old characters. In Kotor 2 there are different characters based on sex and alignment. Kotor 3 should use a similar concept, however, with the exception of a few team members you can choose the rest from a variety of characters found in the universe. These characters could be smugglers on tattooine or wookie warriors etc. One of the main NPC's could be a fellow Sith soldier who with your influence follows your every action.
If i could mod then i would try to make this. But I can't and it's simply an idea in my head which most people probably think is crazy lol
