Yes, but it is for me, so I couldn't really tell what they were saying. :D
Presumably it's not only you who's having a slow time of work @Eerhardt? If it's just a slow period generally then there's not much you can do about it.

Ah, I see, Ode :D (anyway, I did find something in English with the IMDB) and no worries (copyright@Beldin), as long as the verdict isn't out on potential new customers, I'm staying put - should anything jeopardize my presence at the Rolling Thunder TM, you guys will be the first to know ** SLURRs some more purple beer as not to jinx anything **

The IMDB didn't really sum it up that well, I thought. Try here if your browser can translate Japanese sites.

@Ode: got it - thanks for looking it up. Sounds like a half-baked movie to me ;) .
@Beldin: looking  , man ** finishes his purple beer and lights a Buck's FIZZ **

@Beldin-It looks nice, vaguely mediterranian but not too over the top. You have impeccable taste, my friend.

@Eerhardt-It's great while half-baked, actually, though it's pretty good even when you're not baked at all, and just plain awesome when completely baked. :D
Another good half-baked movie is Akira, but you have to wait until Tetsuo gets his powers for it to get really good.

@Ode: That's exactly what we tried to achieve...

@E-Man: Don't worry 'bout the job....there is ALWAYS another option....you just have to keep your eyes and your mind open ;) :D

The trouble with Mediterranian is that it can easily go over the top and become tacky, there are a lot of houses that cross the line from nicely stylish into horrbly tacky in Perth. You have my utmost congratulations on having avoided this, it's quite hard to find a balance sometimes. :)
**Takes a pre-rolled spliff from the bowl on the bar counter and gets into the tub**

@Beldin: I'll drink to that :D ! ** downs his Buck's FIZZ ** and I agree with Ode on finding a great balance :)
@Ode: the ending of Akira must be particularly interesting with the wrigling mass... :D

Yeah, tell us all about it! I reckon it was exhausting, then? ** pours himself a glass of Jack Daniels **

Cheers Ode ;) Hey, careful with the hugs, mind the sunburn. The festival was cool... I'm soooo tired! But it was fun. :D So how is everyone?

Edit: Hi Eery :)
Well I had to work as well as party, which is extra-exhausting - got stuck with the night shift (10pm-6am) on Saturday, but did get to work on the backstage gate... Roger Waters came through (in between all the band tour buses). ;) And on Friday, I saw Ozzy Osbourne :D

I didn't think it was possible to get sunburned in England... ;) *careful hug* You're going to just loathe Australia in summer if you get sunburnt easily.
What were the bands like? And did you snap anyone's spine like you were planning on doing? :D

Personally, so much planned and so little time to do it (Broodwar, NWN, Warcraft III, Myst III, reading Pratchett...) as opposed to at work, where I hardly get any calls these days (maybe I should read more at work :D ). As long as I've got the Rolling Thunder to hang out in, I'm fine ;) ** downs his shot of J.D. and orders Dusty to fill his glass again ** we haven't seen Brink or Archeron in a while, though Archie put in a cameo appearance a while back. Astafas is around, but I can never tell when he decides to drop by. Kam and Stil have finally finished their exams and drop by more often now. We haven't seen McBane in a while or Ned, but Ned's pretty tied up at work at the moment.
EDIT - Ozzy Osbourne :D ; did he perform any special acts?

As is always the case. :D Good to have you back, BTW. :)

EDIT-I think Irreverant is actually what El Sperm meant, Georgeous. And it's fitting, you have to admit.

Only when I'm on an eight-hour shift standing in the sun and don't have a chance to put on any more suncream. It rained yesterday though...

Most of the bands I saw were pretty good. Isaac Hayes was cool, if only because he actually sang Chocolate Salty Balls :D and a huge crowd turned up to see Rolf Harris. :D The White Stripes were fantastic... and so was the first 10 minutes of the Charlatans (I had to leave and go to work :( )...

Edit @Ode I know what he meant :p ;)

Yeah i did, have to agree about Isaac, really class  White Stripes seemed really emotional, so did Elbow, didn't see the Charlatans. Most of the bands i heard were good :)
