depends if you like the change or not.. oh well enough of that was discussed before..

i noticed this in BG2:SoA forum, couldn't really make a witty remark since fable wouldn't have liked it there..

[QUOTE=Thrifalas] The thing with WC is that you don't have to do it all at the same time.

Good job you don't have to look through all the history at the same time too. That's just bad for you. :p

I'm going now. I'll be back later so no-one wory about me avoiding my duties. And no PM'ing me either, chus. :p

Be back in 4 or 5 hours, I think.

In drag racing you get 75 minutes to service your car. Thats the 75 minute turnaround. They change an engine in 75 minutes!!

well i ain't no drag racer, but i believe they don't change engines between heats, unless it gets damaged.. drag racing takes alot of the engine so i believe they do have to change the engine alot though..

good morning.. nice to see you again :D

Well considering that the engines produce +8000 horsepower

One 500 cubic inch top fuel dragster engine makes more Horsepower than the first 4 rows of the daytona 500

Under full throttle a dragster consumes 1.5 gallons of nitromethane per second. A fully loaded 747 consumes fuel at the same rate with 25% less energy being produced.

A stock Dodge hemi can not drive the dragster supercharger.

With 3000 cfm of air being rammed in by the supercharger on overdrive the fuel mixture is compressed to a near solid form before ignition. The cylinders run on the verge of hydraulic lock at full throttle.

At the stoichometric 1.7:1 air:fuel ratio for nitromethane the flame front temprature measures 7050*F

Nitromethane burns yellow. The spectacular white flame seen above the stacks at night is raw hydrogen, disascociated from the water vapor by searing exhaust

To Be continued

Dual magnetos supply 44 amps to each spark plug. Thats the out put of an arc welder in each cylinder!

In order to exceed 300 mph in 4.5 seconds G forces average 4Gs. In order to accelerate to 200 mph well before halftrack launch Gs approach 8Gs.

*A dragster has reached 300 mph before you have finished this sentence

Assuming that all equipment is paid off the crew worked for free and for once nothing blows up It costs $10000 US per second at full throttle

TBC

Putting all into perspective, You are driving the average $240,000 Enzo Ferarri. Over a mile ahead a Top Fuel Dragster is staged and waiting for you. You run hard through the gears and fly past the dragster at an honest 200 mph. The dragster leaves at that moment.

You have the advantage of a flying start. You keep your foot down hard but you hear an incredibly brutal whine and 3 seconds later the dragster catches you and beats you to the finish line a 1/4 mile from where you passed him.

Think about. The dragster spotted you 200mph and not only caught, but nearly blasted you off the road within a mere 1320 foot race course! That my friends is acceleration! :D
