The map looked fine. Then I noticed frogus' move:

"A Spa - Mar"

Sorry, but I see no army in Spain...

The map should look like this:

In next post due to editing...

I'm afraid I have an error for you Dottie.
Italy:
A Trl - Mun
A Spa - Mar
This is a misorder seeing as it is a fleet in Spa not an army. Therefore that piece holds. Accordingly, I retain control of Marseilles. :)

Sorry to be overly pedantic, but Dottie you were picky about whether he was talking about the north coast or south coast of Spain. If we're going to obey the letter of the law, the map should look like this.

The reason why I did allow the order was that it wasnt ambigous, wich is also stated by Diplomacy rules. Look to page 3 on the manual.

I also accept the map, much as it pains me not to have those armies in mar and bur :(

frogus completely threw my plans off by moving! :P :D

That was a really nice set of moves, Dottie. :) One question: how the HELL did you manage to convince frogus to do that attack when it was so obvious that you would take Portugal?? Lesser of two evils? One last chance to roger the Russo-Turkish juggernaut that had so easily ploughed over his homeland? :D

Builds are:

Russia 1 build
England 2 builds

frogus would have a build except all his home centres seem strangely occupied by Turks...*scratches head* :D

Nooo...Paint Shop Pro has finally given up on me...after numerous messages saying "This is a trial product, limited to 30 days. After 60 days this product will cease to function. You are on day 147 of your trial period"...it's stopped working!! How am I gonna convert .bmps into .gifs now? :(

Seriously, if anyone knows of a handy utility for changing graphic file formats, please drop me a line. I have a lovely Diplomacy Spring 1906 map with your name on it... :D

Next moves Friday? I suspect that after this year, it will just be me, Kam and Dottie left anyway - so less of the late moves :p

friday ok with me.
But i dont understand how a fleet can attack over land.

@CM: Fleets can move to coastal provinces, and anywhere you can move to you can attack.
