Man, Ode, I just had to drag up this old thread again after that comment :D
** takes a MC² - C.C.B. mix ** Well, I'm off for a bit of a lie-down, see y'all on Monday ** downs his mix and drops to the floor **

Ignoring your comment about halflings being more desirable because they're "funny looking" (: (?), the extra point of constitution is well offset by the halfling's need to use a stepladder to do something so simple as give you a kiss. And of course it's far harder to appear as an authority figure to one's children if they're almost a foot taller than you, as is likely to be the case for the halfling parent with quarterlings :D .
My argument for this is:
You assume I would be a human myself :)

They picked elf for me when I did that D&D test...

An elf bard/mage with a strength of 3 :D

Clearly the height difference would not be *that* bad...

Besides a halfling would be much better than some stuffy human *shudders* paladin.

*imagines Paladins would be shinning their armor and praying instead of lavashing affection on women as they should*

:D

Agreed on the Paladin part. *shudder*.

I was an elf according to that DnD test too. Only I was a ranger/druid. Go Mielikki!

The height difference would still be a minor (snigger) problem. And if you were an elf the halfling would grow old and die long before you did, not to mention the stamina issue would no longer matter because the maximum you could have would be 17 too. What's the point in a halfling who can go "that extra mile" if he has to "go it alone"? :D

Oh spanish caravan take me away.
Take me to Portugal, take me to Spain.
Under a blue sky with fields full of rain.
I have to see you again and again.

Ahah, but my lady, a Paladin knows that a woman is like some good armour, they protect the heart from wicked ways and their beauty will always be held in the best light by a Paladin. Truly, a Paladin is one that would lavish attention on you beyond compare, try one, you'll never go back. :D ;)

I can vouch for hobits. I know six girls who each claim that hairy feet are a turn on...so elves don't get a look in, I'm afraid: Orcs on the other hand...I have heard a lady tell me that she likes the gutteral inflections of the orcish tongue (Ash nack a nazarack or whatever it is...)

Paladins, I cannot speak for. Will ask around at school on Monday and get back to ya nips ;) ...
