@Tybaltus:
I think this should drive up my words-per-post count . . .
Did you spend a lot of time looking for such quotes?

Indeed. I wish there was some official word-counter and something that measured words per post. :D

Unfortunetly, HLD is correct, I must also see the original text, and since Frogus deleted the thread, well the proof is gone.... :(

@T'lainya:
There are eight people in my office and five of them are off for various reasons (vacation, sick, vacation, vacation, family emergency, childbirth) so the rest of us are in what we call "low-productivity" mode, which for me means "super-low-productivity mode".

If you would like me to make any recommendations to your personnel department about working hours and conditions, I would be more than happy to make calls and write letters. I'll also recommend a 15% across the board pay raise, double time pay for off-shifts, triple-time pay for nights, and quadruple time pay for weekends (because at some jobs, like firefighting and EMTs, weekends are a must), plus company cars all around.

Hi T' *hug back* how are you doing? :)

@Ty, nowhere special, just visiting family in a backward little village - it is like time travel :D

I had to rescue a fledgling starling from my cat a couple of weeks ago, the poor thing :( Once I banged on the patio door at the cat, he dropped the bird, but the bird's foot had got tangled in the cats collar and he was hanging upside down beneath the cat's chin :( The bird's panicked flapping freaked the cat though, and he did get away safely - since once he got free of the cats collar, the cat ran away frightened :D

Poor starlings. They get themselves in so much trouble. We get them over here aswell. One day when I arrived at school, there was a starling near a windowsill outside on the ground, alone. I knew it didnt look good, I noticed it was still alive so I rushed outside to see if I could help its recovery. I tossed it in the air, because sometimes all a bird needs to recover from a shock or a problem is to get airborne again, unfortunetly it flew awkwardly, And so it didnt really fly. I caught it on its way down. There is a teacher at the school that takes care of all kinds of animals, whether they are in need or not, so I turned the starling over to him, unfortunetly, the news was not good. :( The poor little guy broke his wing and neck upon an apparent crash into the class window. I did all I could and the teacher did to to save the little guy, but all we could do, was make his last hours of life a bit happier by emersing him in birdfood and water, the things birds love. So my story doesnt end on a happy note like yours does, but thats my starling story. I feel bad that I couldnt save him. :(

I have saved many mourning doves and chipmunks from cats in my backyard, scaring off cats that wander into our backyard, once a cat actually got a hold of a chipmunk, but I arrived in time to save the chipmunk. I have also relieved a shock from a bluejay that had somehow ended up on the ground and I comforted him and tossing him in the air-he flew again so that does have a happy ending.

Hello Ty & T

She may close up the bar, For some odd reason, people have been wanting to get their own threads closed lately. Which is odd, considering if they do, the first thing they wil do afterwards is open up a new thread for the same purpose ;) :D

Good point. I mean is there any purpose by closing the bar? What would it accomplish?

BTW@BS I know I have boasted about being an independant but I am actually thinking of joining the RT. Thoughts?
