*nods* This is true.
@ Juni, well, I would like to cash a check at my bank, so the closer liqour store is out of the question. It'd be a 5 mile walk for me since I don't drive, plus time at the bank and to browse the liqour store. I really don't want to go out given it is just above freezing and it looks like it will start raining again soon. I may just get a bottle of liqour tomorrow and deal with slow consumption of wine throughout today.
The game won't let me rest in the middle town. What's with that? I'm their savior to be, and I can lay waste to the town, squish the guards, but it still won't let me go to sleep!?

Shopping for liqour and books are the only two things I actually don't go in with a clear idea of what I want all the time. If I go for clothes, I know exactly what I want, in what size, color, and shape before I go in. Same for everything else. Generally I know what I want. I just browse around to see whether there are deals on anything I've considered trying but decided I wouldn't risk wasting my money on it if I didn't like it.
I'm considering getting all of the liqour I need to make a batch of purple mother<expletive deleted> for this sunday. I plan on getting wasted. Nothing does wasted better than strong drinks that taste like kool-aid, jello shots, wine and straight shots.

When I buy liquor, I tend to just get a 40 of gin and mix it half and half with ginger ale. Usually lasts me a for weekend of pre-drinking. Half a bottle of gin in an hour and a half is pretty fun.
@ Mag; are you that selective with your women????????????????
I'm very picky with my women. I'm shocked at how many people I've dated considering how picky I happen to be. Then I recall how many girls were "rebound" girls, and how I wasn't so picky, and how short we dated. It all becomes clear then.
@ Aramant, Generally, if I see the need to get wasted for extended periods of time, and I just get handles of cheap vodka and Coke or Sprite. For $40 I can get 3.5 liters of vodka and a gallon of soda or so to chase/mix it with. It'll keep me good and drunk all weekend.
The upside is, I happen to be one of the few people that will drink the stuff. Everyone else refuses it based on the fact it's cheap. So, I don't need to worry about someone sneaking half my bottle of booze away when I'm too drunk to notice. Someone did that with my handle of Jaegermeister one night. He threw it all up too. Oh, I wanted to murder him.

How much is a "handle" of liquor? Quantity-wise, not cost.
Edit: Nevermind, just did the conversions. That's a lot of liquor.

*nods* 1.75 liters. Just under a half-gallon. My tolerance is fairly high...
If I'm getting drunk, I make mixed drinks. Generally, half/half mixes. So, after two drinks, I don't taste what I'm drinking any longer anyways. I tend to go for cheap stuff when I do go to get wasted. When I drink to get a mellow buzz and not go beyond there, I go for quality liqour. Then, you taste it, and it matters.
