*Meanwhile,back at the sheriff's home*

"So,are we gonna stay here until that mean ol' Doc comes around?,"Duke asked.

"I guess so.Might as well make the best of it,"Hugh replied,brandishing a bottle of whiskey from the sheriff's collection,"I'm sure the sheriff won't mind if we make ourselves at home "

"Whatever you say,Hugh"

The two buddies drank until the sun came up

The three men were torn. They wanted to find Loner. They wanted to get Cheech. After a moment they decided to work on getting Cheech.

"Is there a reason why you need to think of a way?" asked Blue. "Does he not trust you? You must regain it somehow."

Aaron broke in. "He and his partner BT have opened up a savings and loan in town. Ehh...I'm not sure how that helps, just thought I'd throw it out there for ya..." He turned red and cleared his throat.

"Somebody shot at us as we left town. And if it was him who shot Kramor outside the theatre... Well, he must know I'm working with him and Loner. I... I don't know what to suggest. He's not easy to fool..." An idea occured to Gigi as she spoke.

OOC:Erm,I have nothing more to post to develope my part of the story .

Kramor listened to the voices outside, he felt like a side of beef. He could barely open his eyes. He sat up, he knew he had broken ribs, hurt to breath.
"Can I have some whiskey for this pain?"

Loner had actually gone back to town, to take care of something. She found Doc Waverly in his hotel room and explained the situation with Sheriff Brink. Waverly ended up giving her the antidote she asked for...Loner ended up paying an outrageous sum for it...and she went back to Brink's house.

Giving Bob and Bucho a sideways glance, she went over and administered the potion to the sheriff. "Now," she said to Bob and Bucho, "keep watching him and make sure he's all right."

Then she left. She rode back to the camp.

Hearing a voice from inside the tent, Gigi rushed in. "Kramor! You're awake!... Lie down, you're in no state to be moving..." she chided, extracting a bottle of whisky from her corset.

Kramor drank the whiskey.
"Wha? How did you get here? Where is Loner, tell her to watch her back. Not DP, someone else, from here. I always knew it wasn't your fault, was mine."

Kramor fell back asleep.

Brink showed no signs of recovery......in fact,it looked as if he was suffering even more once the Snake Oil was applied onto him.

"What's happening?Is it not working?"asked Hugh

"Give it time,pal.We will know for sure wether the sheriff's recovering or not in about 3 hours from now,"answered Duke,sweating profusely as he did not want Hugh to know the whole truth.If he's not showing signs of improvement by then,we'll need a new sheriff

Loner dismounted just as Gigi ran into the tent. Tsai came running up to her. "Kramor is awake," he said. Loner just nodded. "I've got bloody good timing, don't I?" she said. "I think I'll stay out here."

Gigi stroked Kramor's hair as he slept, troubled by his words.

Kramor awoke again. He grabbed Gigi, "get Loner, I need to talk to her, please?"

As the sheriff was sweating like a pig(?? ), Hugh went to fetch a towel and a bucket of icy cold water( ) while his partner started praying beside the sheriff

Georgi rose, hearing voices outside. "Deputy... Kramor wants to speak to you." She wandered a little way off.

Loner entered the tent and knelt beside Kramor. She didn't want to hear what he had to say...She steeled herself as best she could, though the tears were forming in her eyes...

"I was told you asked for me...what is it?" she asked, gently.

"DP just wanted me out of the town. Sombody had to of told him I was in town. Someone from this camp, I was with Gigi, until she went on stage. He is getting information from here."
