... I also noticed this there are almost no other threads that have lasted as long. I thought the three word game was long but this is just HUGE!!!!

A lot of that is the fact that in the old days, this thread would have been closed a long time ago. Back then, when a thread started creeping near one thousand posts, the mods weren't long in closing it due to the limitations of the board at that time I believe. Usually they would close a thread, and someone would open a sequal thread. hence you have things like the DF discussion Thread 1-3 etc.

The board has come a long way

Indeed. I had to run to the store for stuff, but I now have a killer strawberry/cherry milkshake full of vodka.

Well, I don't have any of that. I did run out of ice cream, it was too runny, like 3/5 booze and all, so I ran to the corner store. Didn't have any ice cream! I grabbed two of those strawberry shortcake popcicles, tossed one into the blender and added like 3 oz of reece's pieces and it really helped with the flavor and made it a little thicker. It's still mostly vodka and really liquidy, but it tastes great and almost half booze still.
