Actually, so long as you remain open minded, it is surprising what you might learn from your experiences in the gutter!
Ysh,
I'd be happy to spend some time in the gutter with you. Are you still wearing a dress?
What dress? Erm...no...
Ned, you are the medicine I need, I will wear the dress just for you - you only have to say the word!

A 17 year old blonde cheerleader dragged me into the gutter with her and her friends on my first bus ride on my first day of school when I was 5. I feel all warm and fuzzy there. No sense leaving.

Warm and fuzzy is good, it is a start at least, but if you then went on to marry that cheer leader, or find her hair is from a bottle and her teeth from a glass, then you might be escaping reality now. But that is ok too, the gutter is good for escaping reality!

Ha, no, I haven't seen her since the end of my first year of school. Her boyfriend throw a pen at me when I got on the bus and it drew blood on me. She dumped him for harming the cute new kid, he blamed me for losing his girlfriend and she kept me in her lap until they both graduated for my own safety. Do you have any idea the kind of confusion and trauma sitting with high school girls for a year everyday can do to a small boy?!

Now you are speaking my language! and I thank you for your modest acceptance!
Sorry for the delay, I got a phone call that was more important, but less interesting!

Hey Guys! *hugs*
How goes?
I'm still recovering from my trip to Texas
For some reason the 2 hour time difference is still confusing my sleeping patterns, probably because it is *too* close.
lol! Er.. actually you may have a point, I did eat a lot of foods I'm not unaccustomed to, and now I'm back to my usual 'health nazi' West Coast eating habits

@Ysh, Hiya Sis !
It was a great trip, nice and long this time, and it was also really awesome meeting T'L and Gwally
*happy grin*
@BS, yes indeed, I had a great time, you're just lucky we didn't decide to descend on Kentucky instead
@Jopp, too true
*Waves at Gwally* *virtual hug*

BS, I thought about you last night when I was in winn-dixie. I saw a fine selection of MD 20/20 and a bottle of Thunderbird for sale. TB is only $4! I've never seen it before last night. Nevermind what I was doing cruising the wino aisle of a trashy-mart.

Gwally, I have serious concerns about the path your mind walk from time to time
DW: I don't mind. I can understand the people of Texas probably scared you away from redneck areas
@Jop....the why doesn't matter. Never explain why you wind up in unseemly places, simply revel in it

Hello DW, good trip?
@Ysh...
You don't have to wear a dress if you don't want to
What other poison is worthy of consideration??
Thanks, BS, I see my last quote didn't grace your siggie for too long, so I will save my breath. No dress is a good dress though.
Gwally!! *hugs* Now I have Ned, Gwally and BS all in one thread!! No disrespect to Jopper or Magrus (
) !
DW - I can imagine! You girls are so lucky! How did you share Gwally and not fall out????

lol!
Well the town Scayde lives in is very pretty and actually more ressembles New England. But the outlying areas confirmed all of the stereotypes...
Much of what I saw was straight out of Jeff Foxworthy. My favourite moment was when we passed... a beaten up mobile home, complete with all kinds of trash around it and the obligatory nine rusting cars on the lawn. To top it off in the midst of it all there was a shiny new oil drum and somebody had lovingly stenciled the word "TRASH" on its side, and at the edge of the lawn there was a Statue of Liberty replica holding a Rebal flag
I was ROFLMAO!
