BS, I thought about you last night when I was in winn-dixie. I saw a fine selection of MD 20/20 and a bottle of Thunderbird for sale. TB is only $4! I've never seen it before last night. Nevermind what I was doing cruising the wino aisle of a trashy-mart.
The first time I saw a bottle of MD 20/20 was the night my buddy hired two strippers and told me to hold the camera. I was messed up on White Widow and 1/5 of vodka and the one girl got offended about my buddy wanting to use a camera so she took off and he drank the bottle of MD 20/20 instead of them. Wasn't as much fun as he thought it would be for him, but I was amused and filmed him getting drunk and whining all night.
DW - I can imagine! You girls are so lucky! How did you share Gwally and not fall out????
@ysh... Don't feel bad. I was intending to keep you in my sig til I noticed how many people were using quotes in theirs. I felt oddly like I was trying to fit in in high school for a moment, and immediatly discarded it.

I'm much to old to be popular
@DW...see, that's what I mean. it's like living in the TV show the Beverly Hillbillies

Indeed yes, in some areas I really did feel as though I was touring a Hollywood studio...
Gwally!! *hugs* Now I have Ned, Gwally and BS all in one thread!! No disrespect to Jopper or Magrus ( ) !
I had respect from people in the first place?

I bet she had her hands full!
Jopper, so if we do not fall into the communist/hippy category - should all hope be abandoned?

That might explain my run of luck.
Ok, so how do I become a hippy/commie poisoned soya munching success, then? and does this new way of life exclude Ned's brew?
BS, regardless, this is the first conversation (since I can remember) where you have not...well...

I see...I understand...kinda...
Magrus, I respect everyone initially, I am like that - until I get to know them better, of course.

I would advise you look very carefully in my first reply to you. I think you just arean't listening very well.

Oh, indeed she did! What with Gwally scurrying between kitchen and BBQ and all of us tripping up over one another trying to give him hugs, it was a regular scene of chaos and mayhem
Actually, it was really funny. I had warned my son to be on his best and gentlest behaviour since Gwally has two small girls. Later that night once we'd all eaten, what happens? The girls are chasing my son about with a baseball bat

ROFL!! My boy hates girls, and I don't blame him! His little sister's friends tease him constantly because he is so "gentle" *laughs* he gets the last laugh when he gets sister on her own though! Gwally's eldest is the same age as my girl, IIRC, and my boy is the same age as yours. Evenly matched, manners aside, I say!
BS, just looking for reassurance, that's all!

Evidently I have missed much! Never-the-less, I will afford you the benefit of doubt for tonight. I have enough with CM and BS without chalking another up!

True with the ages. You know, I had often wondered what it would be like if a bunch of us got together with our kids in tow. As it turned out Scayde's 15 year old son, my son, and Gwally's two girls looked to be having a great time; it was really wonderful to see. Your being there with your kids would have made the whole evening even more perfect

Ugh, girls are evil. When I was little they pegged the boys with rocks all through recess.

So, an offer to show you what you've missed would be amiss then I take it.

Well Gwally's two were really sweet actually
But I do know what you mean. My son and his friends are often harassed by the girls in his class, and it are invariably the boys who get the blame...

Yep, the only way to be accepted is to go the way of the sniveling pinko.

j/k
Also, ned's brew is perfectly acceptable under the red justice of the west IIRC.
Me too, just shocked my ways have kept the respect of others.

I know the feeling. My advice, get over the shock, else you'll really lose it later when the respect truns into hero worship. Next thing you know, your PM box is constatly full, women are sending you inappropriate pics, and life is good. Then you ascend to the status of legend after awhile, and people allude to you constantly in their posts. Flattering at first, but then people you've never met before start talking to you like you're their best friend. Eventually, someone siezes the opportunity to slander your sexual orientation by linking you in a homosexual pairing that continues to grow until it's a full blown orgy. Then the less appetizing pics start infiltrating you inbox, and the next thing you know, you got sexually confused youngsters hitting on you.
of course, it all blows over eventually and you get relegated to mythic status where you seldom post and people speak your name in reverant whispers. Then you can start to really mess with people
