But look on the bright side, Vinnie can't play forever for the Jets, can he?
on the other hand, Chad Pennington looked pretty good after Vinny left the game tonight

I thought Pennington was going to play a little bit more than he has in his last few years. I thought he was a standout QB in Marshall and would be a big star, but he hasnt really played so no chance to really shine. As a Jet, though, I hope he never shines. If he played for any of the other 30 teams (excluding Cowboys) I would be cheering for him to get out of the gate and show what he really has.

Oh. I know about Santana Moss. I was hoping he would end up somewhere else but hes a great athelete. Hes just wearing a rotten uniform. GET HIM OUT OF NY!
I hope he gets traded or something. I dont want to wish him bad luck, but I do wish bad luck upon the Jets, so its hard for me not to go against him. Lowsy Jets *starts mumbling*
*hug*Later, AC. Sleep well. Thanks for sticking around!

I think it is ironic, Dan Snyder wanted to fraft Moss last season, but Marty took Gardner instead. Now, Marty is gone, and Moss would have been a perfect fit in Spurriers offense. Oh well, At least they finally signed Ramsey

Ramsey is the running QB from Clemson, is he not? I dunno. I dont have high expectations from him. He looks ok but I just dont see the magic in his arm.

Ramsey was drafted from Tulane. As far as his arm, word from the camp and scouting says he has a gun for an arm. Give him a year or two of playing time, and I think he is gonna be special, esp with Spurrier. Hell, Spurrier made Wurffel (sp?) and Mathews look good. The man is an offensive geinos who makes Mike Martz look like a kindergarten teacher.....God, I hate Spurrier.
I just can't get over the Florida thing. Still, he is a good coach, and should win, I just canb't stand the man
I still think either Harrington or Carr is gonna be a bust. It always seems to happens in these situations.

Sorry. My bad. I was confusing him with Woodrow Dantzler. Hes the running QB from Clemson. Dont know whether he has gone to the pro's or whether hes taking his final years in Clemson. I remember there was a lot of thought of putting him in the draft. I dont remember the result.
Tulane? I saw 1 college football game last year that had Tulane. (Networks here never show their games) They got slaughtered. No defense, but plenty of offense. Tulane plays in Conference USA which is a tough devision, though Tulane's schedule was relatively weak. So my conclusion: Sounds like a good quarterback, but sounds like he needs to have experience against good teams to really demonstrate his power. Conclusion: I have seen him once in action but dont remember anything about him, so I will give him 2 or 3 years before he begins to shine.

I agree, he is gonna have to have some work. But he produced at Tulane, with next to no offensive talent surrounding him. He made his recievers look better than they actually were, and was level headed during the games. What I like is the fact that he had to carry his team, and he did it.
Stiil, its a whole new level now. He's got some growing pains ahead of him. I'll be satisfied as long as he isn't another Shuler.
Out of the QB's selected, I look for Carr to have the better first season. Harrington is in a bad situation with the Lions. At least no one is expecting much from an expansion team, so that should give Carr a little more time to develop.

I agree with you on Ramsey. Like I said, Tulane had very impressive offensive numbers in their games. I didnt know why then, but now I know. It was Ramsey. I dont think he has to deal with immediate pressure to perform because, well, Washington goes through QB's like paper cups, so he might just be another QB face, that is until he starts putting up impressive numbers.
BTW-Whats with your ever-changing sig. That bottom line keeps changing!
