My music tastes vary. I go from garage like So Solid Crew (I love 21 Seconds) to Rock like Papa Roach (Last Resort), Linkin Park (Crawling), Limp Bizkit, I hate Slipknot but Greenday's Basket Case is good. I also like Ride of the Valkyries. That piece just seems to get me going. Ever since I went to play in an aquahockey tournament and my coach played that I just feel so upbeat and active.

There seems to be an obsession with Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park. Just out of interest people do you listen to anything else but angry California Punk (i notice Nippy does

)
If you want angry music listen to some At The Drive In they are more charasmatic and more talented than Limp Bizkit & their lyrics are both interesting and entertaining (although they are on hiatus at the moment).
I am not generally a fan of angry music since i believe hate breeds hate, but no one ever mentions Korn who are ten times better than any of the other angry bands that currently pervade the music scene.
I wish everyone would expose themselves to different styles of music, rather than just perpetuating the angry music that seems to be the 'fashion' at the moment.
Listen to some Miles Davis if you want cachophony. Jazz is the original music of the oppressed and is effective in mways crap mainstream music could never be.
I am sick to death of all these bands coming out and saying they are oppressed and the 'man' is on their back (Ubik

) they have no idea what opression is , and it infuriates me that these middle class tossers can not accept anything without venting their anger at us the public.
My rant is over.
EDIT: @ Nippy 21 seconds is good but i preffered the previous track (wasn't it called 'Oh no' )

It's nothing new. Don't you remember the Stones classic "[Screw] Brink, That Near 7000 Post Mutant" ?
My theme song... must change with my mood. Today it would be

@Sleep

I'm with you on this one... At The Drive In are good
@Brink it's because it's all manufactured to appeal to rebellious teenagers who think it's cool
