Helios and Apollo are more familiar sky Gods to me. Uranus must not have made much of a name for himself around here. I will have to seek him out. Thanks for showing me the light, Brink and KramoR

Subsequently captured by a sock monkey, he was enslaved by Waverly, forced to wear a studded collar, and now goes by the nickname, "Sweetcakes."
He was right. It wasn't very pleasant.

Re: Uranus or Ouranos (Gk. for "heaven" or "sky")
Anybody care to share some comparisons to Uranus from other pantheons? The older story of Aphrodite springing from the severed genitals of Uranus is far more than just a silly variation on the continuity of Greek mythology. Good theosophical stuff.
