It's okay
Malaysia is alright, I suppose

.We don't really have any natural disasters here, and the climate is warm throughout the year

A lack of natural disasters is good, increases one's chances of survival.

. I just got back from a small island off the coast of Central America, I can see advantages to a year round warm climate. Although, I think the humidity would get to me after a bit.

I suppose it's the opposite for me

(my lips cracked frequently on my last visit to the US

).The only 'disaster' that could happen here is the haze which usually occurs when there's a dry spell

I think it's a question of what you get used to. I recall that for a couple of days after getting back from vacation my skin felt really dry. I live on Canada's West Coast and the climate is cool and temperate. If we get to about 27*C in the summer we consider it hot, and it rains most of the winter. We are also in the earthquake belt....
This is weird, I'm not sure I've seen this place quite so deserted, I'm beginning to think that we're the only two people online, unless everyone else is just lurking.

My GB name was kind of a hybrid. I have a New Age Baby Book with all kinds of weird names in them (I think Brink is in there

) There was a name "Thanos" which means "noble" or "bear man" in Greek. I often wondered if the interpretation you were stuck with was based on performance.

Anyway, I wanted something with more weight and strength. The next name down was "Thor" so I kind of combined them.

The name "Witch King" comes from literature. A mid 20th century author, R. Neiklot, had a character with the name. The character was an impressive figure throughout his part in the book, except the end where he was bitten in the ass by small donkey, contracted rabies, and died rather lamely.

DW, I know what you meat.

My husband is trying to convince me we both need new stationary computers for work reasons.
I think both you and I should sue Interplay and Buck for ruining our academic careers
