i'm all for it, too, but it almost seems like a K3 is pushing it. and since Star Wars has never done anything outside of multiples of 3 (as far as i'm aware), that'd mean another 3 KotORs AFTER K3. sure i'd happily accept it, but the odds are slim to none.
if they were to make an additional KotOR trilogy, do you think they'd do it like they did with the movies, and make the games prequels? i'd LOVE to fight in the Mandalorian Wars, honestly. MAYBE even Exar Kun?

Yep, I think so, though I think the Mandalorian Wars is something for a Battlefront-like game.Darth Valthri wrote:if they were to make an additional KotOR trilogy, do you think they'd do it like they did with the movies, and make the games prequels? i'd LOVE to fight in the Mandalorian Wars, honestly. Heh, they could even call the prequel games Star Wars: The Adventures of Jolee Bindo.

To me it seems pretty obvious that it should focus around both. Kreia said the the exile: "Perhaps you shall go there with him, and do battle at the end of all things. Instead, I remained here… and now show others the way." This pretty much states the the exile followed Revan and that he hasn't died for she could do battle with him, most likely against the "True Sith".
This game mustn't have anything to do with it's "prequels" even though it happens in the same universe, as I'm pretty sure it's going to happen. Developpers will probably focuse in a game wich aims the heart of the mass than just unmercyfull prequel fans who will critisize any aspect of the game that is not as original and satisfying as the previous one.
A few conversation lines about Revan and the exiled should be more than enough, even if the hard-nosed fan community reaction can be predicted...

Despite what GL says I think the old Sith such as Revan, Sion, Exile, Kriea, Ragnos, Tulak Hord, Sadow and Nilihus are 100 X stronger than the Sith in Ep 1 onwards. GL says one thing but shows another the Sith in ep can barely use force push let alone lightning and drain. Many Sith do not fight in movies but hide and have hidden for 1,000 yrs = COWARDLY and WEAK. The Jedi are police men fighting pathetic criminals like huts and trolls compared to the endless wars the Jedi of the Old Republic.Darth Valthri wrote:actually, it was Ki Adi Mundi who said that the Sith had been extinct for over a millenia, but yeah, like you and multiple others have stated, the time gap really is ridiculously large to cover.
however, we don't really know for how long over a millenia that KAM was talking about. i mean, let's say Revan, the Exile, and whoever the subject character of K3 is destroy all of the True Sith. the Sith of the movies aren't really Sith, just a bunch of pathetic, overly-emotional (Anakin) wannabes. so maybe the True Sith are wiped out by our 3 super-heroes, and then there's one person (or maybe a few more) who manage to avoid elimination, and begin to rebuild the Sith Empire over the next few millenia, ending up with what we got in EP. 1

If that's the case it wouldn't be KOTOR 3! How could it be part three if it has nothing to do with part one and two?Jazz.z wrote:This game mustn't have anything to do with it's "prequels" even though it happens in the same universe, as I'm pretty sure it's going to happen.
Looking more and more accademic though as it becomes more and more apparent that there isn't going to be a KOTOR 3.

It'll definitely be interesting to see if they can reach that far. Personally i think it will fall flat, but that said, Star Wars is a powerful franchise with plenty of fans... so who noes...Xandax wrote:And 4, 5, 6 and up to 12 I believe they called it.

For a second I thought you were being serious there! Then I saw the lol.Loki[D.d.G] wrote:Isn't the upcoming The Old Republic mmo KotOR 3 in essence? lol
Anyone who seriously tried to claim that a Multipl Morons Online could ever be part three of KOTOR would definitely be courting a lawsuit for false advertising.
