A note to players, as I forgot to mention this. Any time you need to roll a percentile like Magrus just did, the low end of the dice is a failure (thus if he had gotten a 1-15% he would have failed, not an 85-100%). So just remember, low is always bad.

You focus for a moment, cast the spell and notice the falchion has a strong necromancy and transmutation effect on it. However, before you can study it further, the Orc Bartender spots you.

"Hey! You! You leave bar now! No spellcasting, get out before I call big guard boys!"

It seems everyone's attention is fixated on you now, except for Keb who places his palm to his face and shakes his head a little.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Shaking his head, Magrus grins, and says in the Orc tongue "Sorry Sir, I just wanted to see why that sword caught my attention. Nothing harmful done, no harm intended. I would like to buy everyone here a drink, if you'd let me stay." Magrus pulls out a few gold coins, holding them spread out along the palm of his hand so the bartender can see like a hand of cards. "Surely there is no problem with that, no?"
"You can do whatever you want to me."
"Oh, so I can crate you and hide you in the warehouse at the end of Raiders?"
"So funny, kiss me funny boy!" / *Sprays mace* " I know, I know, bad for the ozone"

@Magrus

The orc with the sword stands up and stops the bartender from speaking, "Easy Drek, let me deal with this one." He walks up to you. "So...you wanna see my sword eh?"

He draws it out, and the aura is now much stronger. Though the serrated edges stained with several colors of blood is what really catches your attention. "It is a beautiful sword, I have no idea who originally had it. I took it when I killed the half-dragon who carried it.

It's designed for decapitation, with the utmost efficiency. Shall I test it on you, or can I have that drink you offered?"

Some of the blood on that sword looks fresh, as if used a mere few days ago. From his threatening and sincere words, you feel compelled to hand over the gold for his drink, and the drinks for everyone in the room as promised. A drop of sweat rolls down your head, and your heart pounds even after he sits back down. It's quite clear he's not someone you wanna mess with.

The word "Decapitation" catches your attention.

Magrus nods, and says "Indeed, I'll buy everyone a drink, as promised, I keep my word." He grins, calling the barmaids over, and telling them to give the crowd whatever they want, paying the coin needed. "However, my interest was in your sword, and not in any sort of violent way. I am a warrior, like you, so it caught my attention. I am an apprentice mage, and the glimmer told me it was magic. Soon, I hope to be able to make weapons, such as yours, but the power is beyond me yet. However, I had hoped to study it, in order to see what I could so that, in the coming days, I could perhaps, make something similar for a warrior, like yourself, to sell. If I gave you 10 gold coins, to hold your sword in peace, for 1 minute with no one interrupting me, would you be open to such an offer?"
"You can do whatever you want to me."
"Oh, so I can crate you and hide you in the warehouse at the end of Raiders?"

I was listening slightly distracted to the discussion between Margus and the orcs, while drinking from the usual ale. As I was sipping from my mug, the word "decapitation" hit like a thunderbolt. I almost unnoticeable winced, shivers down my spine and the ale struggled to go through my neck in the belly. The alarm sounded in my head and suddenly my senses were sharper due to concentration.
Slowly I put the mug down and focus my attention onto the orc curious how the whole affair between him and Margus will end. Meanwhile I was aware that he was able to sneak into my room last night while I was sleeping and indirectly threatened me.

@Magrus

The orc looks at you, orders the most expensive drink in the house, then spits at your feet. "I think not. This sword is already contaminated enough just from proximity from the likes of you."

The orc sits back down at his table, and continues his discussion with his comrade.

-25 gold (20 for free rounds for everyone, 5 for the expensive drink for the orc).

Vierro

The paladin enters the bar, observing an argument between his comrade and an orc. Seeing the orc threaten, he casts detect evil, just staring at the situation. After observing his aims, he nears the mage, and engages into light chatter.

(ooc: Give me a y/n answer is he evil, no description is necessary.)

@Esterimas-

"Hmph, nah, never heard of her. Consider this though, it could be a sob story, and it could equally be an attempt to plague your mind. I'd suggest letting it go for now."

@Vierro-

It's rather odd. Normally this ability functions foolproof, but with this orc, you detect the presence of evil, normalcy, and even some holiness. This is something you've never experienced or heard of.

Grath
Grath walks into the inn as well, and as he looks at the scene, a smile pops up in his face. "There you guys are, how great to see both of you" he walks over to Vierro first and gives him a pat on the shoulder during his concentration "great to see you Vie, gotten any smiting done lately? Oh, I see, another staring contest with evil itself, just give the word if you need something then"

He says and continues over to Esterimas, and once again initiates hands on shoulder contact. "Charitable today? Your kindness knows no bounds it seems, half the people I knew would only have bought orcs alcohol if they knew it was poisoned, the other half would have done it in the hopes of them getting drunk and killing each other." He states relatively loudly with little concern for what ears might hear this. "Now how has the time in solitude treated you my brother in blood?"

Grath seats himself somewhere accessible, in case some of his teammates need to talk with him or enjoy his chumminess

Grigore (sorry for the lateness been really busy)

after helping the orc, I spend the rest of my day taking care of my horse and at night I join my companions, and prepare to defend magrus honor, when the orc spits at his feet.

"If you tell me to my friend I will go down and tell that rude piece of orc to properly respect you" I say to Magrus once the orc is away
Have you seen my brain around here? No? well in case you see it its brainy and squishy looking. If you see it let me know

Vierro

"He has a stench of evil on himself, and his own behaviour is making my sword hand twitch. I would like a moment *alone* with him."

Vierro sat and called a wench for a glass of water, his comrades were coming around.

"We shall examine him more closely after this nights' meeting, if you agree. I dislike mysteries, and he has proven himself one."

The whole time talking Vierro didn't pull his sight off the strange orc.

I salute Grath and Grigore as they enter the tavern and continue to everyone,

"We should do something about this, but it's quite dangerous while we are on their territory. Confidence comes in numbers too. Plus we don't need injured people considering the long journey ahead. Keb, I presume we leave in the morning right?"

"Indeed, we leave at dawn and while I can heal you guys somewhat, I cannot raise the dead. I'm not sure anyone can, I haven't heard about that sort of thing except in history tomes."

I nod to Keb,

"Then may I suggest we let it go for now? We might get a second chance some other time when we'll have better chances to fight back."

Grath
"I must say I agree to that proposal my friend, a conflict has never felt good when you travel the day after. It's like drinking booze the night before doing a show" Grath says and leans towards Kex "How are you doing then?"

Vierro

"Then, as we travel so soon I may let it pass, but he'll have his dues soon, I can feel it."

Vierro finally stops looking at the weird orc and turns around to the table. There's his traveling group, along with Keb on top of the table. The conversation started somewhat.

"Smiting is waiting to be done, how early should I rise tomorrow? I don't have any doubts that enemies will be littering our journey."

I raise my mug and toast,

"Wise decision my friends! I am glad to be part of this adventurous yet full of wisdom party. I hope our journey will be successful with enemies running from our path and trap free dungeons."

I gulp the rest of the ale and use the sleeve of my shirt to clean the remains. I then rest my back in the chair with an obvious smile of satisfaction on my face,

"Keb, the night is still young. I hope your purse is still full because my thirst is certainly growing. Not to mention my hunger!"

Esterimas Deed
I listen to my comrades and finish my drink, "Indeed it is an honor to be in the presence of you all, I can already see The King's Inheritance within our grasp"
i wave my arms to the length or those who surround me and close my fists as i mention our designated goal

i then begin to get out of my chair and head out " Very well then I anticipate our voyage in the morning"

as i head out i nod to sodwah "If I recall you woke up with a head in your bed and that orc seems to have a grudge against you, lets hope he wont be coming for us first" i say and continue out with a slight giggle

(i may have mistaken who it was whom woke up with the head)
