Elliah smiles at Aesenyth as she seems to be finished eating, leaving half of the meat still on the bone. She scratched behind her ear as she pulled the plate of meat toward her and began to finish what her tressym couldn't. Just then she had noticed a dwarf walk in, and the serving girl went to wait on him.
She took a drink from one of her waterskins and continued eating silently as he dealt with the young lady, at least until the badlands dwarf began addressing her.

"The circumstances of my visit to this barren land are scarcely fancy, m'lord." She said, turning her pale eyes to the man, trying to ascertain what he wanted, if anything, or anything that might give her a clue as to what sort of person he is, and whether or not he was any threat."Fancy seeing one of yer type around this parts"

"Hoo, perhaps we could share a tale or two, over a drink?"
Akumo takes a chair and rudely comes to the she dwarf table, he adjusts his sun glasses and gives a small smile behind his short red beard.
"Name be Akumo Dozla, Dwarf of many skill"
Akumo the red haired dwarf was far from shy, and if he wanted a job he needed to sell his skill, hopefully this patron would be in need of Akumo's special "skills"
(lets keep this short so we don't hold up the others)

Elliah watched the dwarf take the seat at her table. Aesenyth was watching him as well, but far more warily. She didn't trust strangers so easily.
"Elliah." She said as she finished the rest of the roast, "Though some call me Airana. I am a wanderer, but I'm afraid my stories might be a little dull."

"Ah! and would a wonderer such as yourself know of someone needing someone with some knowledge of the city and how to move in it" Akumo winks at Elliah, he wouldn't normally be so open to someone but he had to sell his skills, even if the girl couldn't offer a job maybe a friends of her could.

The recent events, and the upcoming visit to the rebel hideout suddenly rushed to mind as the dwarf mentioned. She didn't think much of the wink, but if this person could deliver what he's selling, he could be very useful.
"Well, if you're looking for a job, ser dwarf, you may be in luck. Unfortunately, the hour is late, and Aesenyth and I must retire, or else I would regale you with the whole story now." She stood, her tressym companion hopping onto her shoulders as she gathered her things. "Seek me here on the morrow, and I shall present to you someone who could use your assistance."
She took to the stairs, leaving her payment for her room with the servant girl. As she settled into her room, she took one last look outside, to the astral object that only she could see. She then settled down to a serene slumber.

Akumo begins rubbing his hands below the table "I will meet you in the morrow" The red haired dwarf smiles and waits for Elliah to go upstairs. Akumo quickly leaves and goes to collect his stash, find a cheap in and tries to return as early as possible the next day.

OOC: Since others are more skilled with words my character waits for them to speak with the loyalists first.

Guys, in the future, please refrain from using conversational skills (diplomacy, bluff, intimidate) on each other. While Siberys had a perfectly good character reason to bluff Ehren, her action has been effectively keeping Moogleman out of the game for days, which just isn't fair. Sometimes, the rules and roleplaying have to take a backseat in favor of general enjoyment.

Yeah..sorry about that dude. It wasn't my intention that you'd have nothing to do (I figured you might actually interact with the marketplace instead of just get base figures for the item cost).
I won't do that again (well, not at the expense of gameplay time. If my character still feels the need to bluff against a player, so long as it's not cutting them out of the game, I still may do it).

Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.

While I didn't approved Syberis actions either, I think Moogleman should try to catch up with us since he is the character most eager from all of us to recover his special weapon Tempered Star. The loyalists are many as I can tell without meta gaming much, so probably he could try to find leaks of information. Especially the servant girl seems too informed. I would have tried to find out more from her, but my character isn't much lean on those things. Or possibly bribing other characters could lead him to the burned out house.
Moogleman don't give up!

@Moogle-
There's likely gonna be a huge commotion in the streets with a ton of soldiers, so you could probably use that to get back in the situation. Again, I'm really sorry about setting it up like this, I did not intend it in the slightest for you to just have nothing to do....

Well don't worry, I won't be doing that again. If I have a reason to use bluff against your character, I won't do it at the expense of game time for you (i.e., I might lie about certain minor things I may not want you to know about but I won't set you up with a fools errand or the like again).Moogleman wrote:Thanks guys! I was feeling kinda sour since you were all of doing stuff and I was running around on a fools errand. It wouldn't of been so bad if we were playing face to face but beacasue it takes so long to advance the story I was getting a bit frustrated.

Great to see that Moogleman is on top of this. Very nice comeback!
On other news, I am refraining to post and I am waiting for Ellie's turn in our encounter. I am not sure if this is what we're supposed to do. I am looking for advice.

Okay then, I'll give it a shot, but don't blame me if I do some major mistake
Edit: Hopefully the dice is not against us.

OOC: I am not sure when to use Bluff and when to use Diplomacy. I was thinking that Bluff is used to persuade someone through words and guiding him where you want, while Diplomacy is simply to increase your chances of bluffing by making him more friendly towards you. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also we should roll Sense Motive for his take on being the half-brother of the queen for example? I look forward to any advices regarding this, which could be posted in the player thread.malinzaro wrote:...
When he heard about the oath, Westan slightly nods, but he obviously doesn't agree with the captain's views,
Dear Captain Movahn, do not mistake us for your loyal troops. We are here to fill the gap in your own troops, but on the other hand we are looking for profit. So let'stalk about what are your plans for us. Then you can continue with our rewards in coins, maybe a valuable artifact or even a map that could lead us to some sure gains. Afterwards some weapons and the permit to display them would be useful for the task you have in mind.
