A bump is a post which serves no purpose other than keep a thread closer to the top of the list.

I may be an Australian but I'm actually extremely neurotic so Beldin can keep no worries.

sigs, what sigs?

He's a neurotic chainsaw wielding treehugging mutant bunnie from the antipodies, she's a scantily clad nuclear physicist who just popped out of his furtive imagination from a dimension of indescribable evil, they hang out! - Curdis !
The warlord sig of 's' - word

Making a reappearance for those who have a sig even longer

@frogus: Yes, he has. I'm just using it because there's a lot of people out there who confuse AUSTRIA and AUSTRALIA and I like to keep them confused.... ;)

In fact it would be quite easy to distinguish the two : In Austria we have NO KANGAROOS !

Edited after thinking about it: "In Austria we have NO KANGAROOS ! " - and no Dingos, no Desert, a lot less sheep and better beer. ;) :D

- So - NO WORRIES !

So don't you guys have zoo's in Austria? :p ;)

As for better beer, well that comes down to personal taste. Then again we do export poorer versions to our unsuspecting foriegn markets. No one I know drinks Fosters anymore...

*Damn said that bit too loud* :D ;)

LOL :D

G'day mate !

OK - we DO have 5 or 6 Kangaroos here, but the're being held captive ;) . (YES - in a Zoo ! :) )

We don't import much beer around here - we've some very good local breweries - and IF we need some foreign stuff the preferred brand is BUDWEISER - but the Original Czech one - not the watery stuff the call beer in some other places I could name...

*ducks to avoid any thrown "BUD" cans*

That your increasing comprehension of the SYMian mind derives from becoming one, yourself. :D :p ;)

@Beldin,

All countries seem to export their lousiest beer. I guess a lot of Budweiser is sold here in the states but no one I know would drink it. Cold, canned urine, nothing more. sorry. :(

what's sad is there are some good american brews but the likelihood of them reaching another country is pretty scarce, which is probably true everywhere.

@ned: When I visited Ft. Myers last year we (me and my s.o.) drank mostly Milwaukees Best or Milwaukee Ice - they came closest do our liking... ;)

Hey I've actually got a few that make some sense! Image Check 'em out:

He's a deeply religious Catholic farmboy with a secret. She's a sharp-shooting
Buddhist detective in the witness protection scheme. They fight crime!

I think this one sounds very thought provoking. He’s seen or knows something that puts him in danger so he’s placed in witness protection. She’s assigned to protect him, unaware of just what it is he knows. They spend a lot of time together, and their contrasting religions become the primary subject of their conversations. It could have a similar tone as the movie Witness.

He's a suave oversexed misogynist cat burglar with a winning smile and a way with the ladies. She's manipulative streetsmart journalist on the trail of a serial killer. They fight crime!

This one just sounds cool! Image She’s a go getting reporter hot on the trail of a serial killer. Unfortunately she hits a brick wall in her investigation and has to turn to him. He’s a Connery-esque rogue who she blackmails into helping her. He’s knows about the serial killer, but is reluctant to help. She’s used to getting her way. Could be a lot of excitement, mind games, and sultry suspense here (like Entrapment).

He's a fast-talking neurotic grifter haunted by memories of 'Nam. She's a virginal artistic schoolgirl who hides her beauty behind a pair of thick-framed spectacles. They fight crime!

Sounds more like an inspirational “different generations teach other how to live” scenario rather than a crime fighting one. Still, I’d like to see something like this (perhaps similar to Finding Forester or Ghost World).

He's an obese Jewish hairdresser from the Mississippi delta. She's a cynical antique-collecting college professor looking for love in all the wrong places. They fight crime!

Doesn’t this sound like a romantic comedy? I can’t imagine these two fighting crime, but I’d love to see their romance! Image
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

@Kayless, with all due respect, when they begin making sense, I think it's time to lay off the tequila. :p

I never drink tequila, only scotch and vodka martinis, shaken not stirred. Image Hey, statistically speaking some of them have to make sense (at least as much sense as Hollywood). Some of those could be movies or T.V. shows! Image
