Why you are absolutely correct. Took me awhile to track down my copies of the original Dark Elf series at the house (my wife loves to hide them, all in the name of packing old things away). Anyway, the answer that I thought, placed in the game manual was "Drizzt Doeurdenthe" which was shortened to Do'urden. Anyway, your question now or let the thread fall off. I just hate unanswered questions and I actually learned some things.

No big deal. And sorry if I sounded a little snooty. I've read all the Drizzt books (save one: Sea of Swords) and I like to think I know a lot about him. Just goes to show, you're never to old to learn--and thank God for that.
Now for a new question. I said before I wouldn't give one, but I thought I'd take a crack at it. Hmm...
Answer: the name of the guy who you get a Longsword +2 from in the original BG (probably not that hard, but oh well).

There was a question posted before, about what is the spell that only one person can cast in the game (or something like that) and I don't think it was answered.
What is the rapture of the father, cast by Irenicus during a dream sequence in Spellhold when he takes Imoens soul.

Alternately, what is "Create Bruiser Mates", which only Jan can cast, or what is Drow Transformation, cast by Adalon in the Underdark.

@Shadowspawn and Bad Karma -
Pertaining to Drizzt, the manual says the following.
DRIZZT DO'URDEN
(Dritst Doe-URR-den) Drizzt Doeurdenthe dark elf (Chaotic Good, drow elf male, ranger 15th level). A renegade drow ranger who has escaped the oppressive regime of his underground homeland...
It goes on to give more background information. Regardless, I am positive that "Doeurdenthe" is nothing more or less than a double typo. Do'Urden is spelled incorrectly and there's no space in between his last name and the word "the." It should read:
DRIZZT DO'URDEN
(Dritst Doe-URR-den) Drizzt Do'Urden the dark elf (Chaotic Good, drow elf male, ranger 15th level). A renegade drow ranger who has escaped the oppressive regime of his underground homeland...
His full name as listed in Homeland, the first book in R.A. Salvatore's Dark Elf Trilogy, is Drizzt Do'Urden Daermon N'a'shezbaernon. I matched the spelling with the book exactly.
Yeah.

That's weird...my manual has a space between the misspelled 'Doeurden' and 'the'. Not the most important thing in the world, though.

What is Harper's Call, no? It's an actual spell, in that you can tell Jaheira when to cast it, rather than it being some made-up thing that JonI does to kill things...
Answer: Ankheg Plate Mail and a Pearl.
Hehehe...

True, but what about Find Familiar? Only the PC can cast it. I guess either one would fit the criteria.

Correct, on all the fake flametongues.
The "mountain area" east of Nashkel with all the tombs, where in the south a thief runs out with his mind tormented by a revenant and gives it to you. You can then visit the revenant and fulfill the quest with it. (I always killed the revenant: 3000 exp. is nothing to be tormented by)

I think it's a question.....But it's from bg1
this was ment to be about bg2, since it's the bg2 forums. And not everyone who posts here have played the first game, so they won't be able to answer.
