Your member number
To check how old someone is, I think, the list of on-line members on the top of the threads screen is organized from the oldest to the newest, in progression.

When you check the member number in the status bar, I think they're all off by 1. Didn't Buck whack someone so that his member number changed from 2 to 1? In the status bar, my member number shows as 871, but I could have sworn that I was 872.

I was good ole' 1106. Which I wouldn't have remembered at all if it wasn't for this old thread.

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Does this mean that if Buck has baaasssied someone, all those that came after that person has his/her member number reduced by one?Originally posted by HighLordDave

I don't think so. Baassie was just banned, not eliminated, which would not affect the rest our member numbers. Buck took someone out.Originally posted by Maharlika

Deleting aliases/alter-egos would depend on the member number that was being deleted. For instance, if someone had an alter ego that was #1051, when it was deleted, only member number 1052 and higher would be affected (and dropped one number); at #872, I would be left alone, as would everyone with a member number under 1050. However, when Buck whacked member #1, it affected us all.
@Ned:
I guess it just goes to show how many alter egos were out there. I wonder if Buck will ever go through the membership lists and delete folks who haven't posted for a certain amout of time (say a year or so).

I honestly don't know. All I am offering is pure conjecture on my part. However, I think if I mention Buck's name enough, the Grandmaster Luker will show up let us all in on the big secret.Originally posted by Stilgar

So let's start the Buck Satan summoning ritual:
Buck Satan! Buck Satan! Buck Satan!
Now let's say it backwards:
Natas Kcub! Natas Kcub! Natas Kcub!
O Mighty Lurker, we beseech thee! Enlighten us as to the mystery of the GameBanshee member numbers!

Whn Buck installed the board he was automatically made number 2. Equis was the next person at number 3.
Check Equis profile and you will see it is still 3. While Bucks is now 1. So in my enlighted stat, I say Buck swapped 1 and 2 around. 2 being filled by the old space (Whatever it was on the other board)
This answers Bucks, mine no one was deleted up to my number. Waverly's is now 746, so someone was deleted between 357 and 747.
On the old board number 1 was the person who programmed the board (Or something like that)Originally posted by Stilgar

Well I recall being number 1856, and Gwally was two numbers behind at 1858. Now my profile shows 1858 - so they have inserted new members!![]()
For a small fee, I will tell.
