You know Ysh, that hug is a trademark Viv item... besides the fact that you're doing it all wrong!

That is a good point... well the vocab is a case of education anyway, I think the adages you didn't need to know them, just be able to make sense of them. That was definitely the easiest round though. Mind you, there wasn't any round where I did particularly badly. I remember I got the wheelbarrow question wrong, and I kicked myself because I originally had the right answer, then wondered and changed my mind at the last minute - d'oh! :D
btw - what did you go for in the painter question? - I was eeny meeny miney mo! went for train since my time was up.
Same here, pretty much... I was thinking "well, they're both painters", and was trying to work out what would make the difference between train and stagecoach when the time ran out so I just put train. ;)

@Sleepy they also emphasised that if you missed questions out they would be marked wrong, so that could have had an impact on your score ;)

Oh? Should I have bought a licence first? And did you see Mr Sleep complaining about my technique? :rolleyes: ;)

See? :p It appears that the licence for hugging has been awarded to my dear friend, Viv, since she is nice enough to hug more than others.

@Morlock, don't worry - I won't disappoint you by hugging you, I am selective with my attentions :D :p ;)

That's ok, I don't think you'd be able to answer questions about the similarities between Mesopotamian and Egyptian magic traditions (etc) anyway :p :D You might be better than me at the general paper though, since you just have to BS your way through it... :p ;)

I can't see how a hug from Ysh could be wrong! ;) But if you think she needs practice, I shall volunteer to assist her in mastering the technique. :D

I took part in the test but received no mail :( ,anyway I tried this one (http://www.highiqsociety.org/noflash/no ... qtests.htm) and got 124 in the 1st test... and I found the questions there more interesting than in the time limited test but the english part was too difficult for me as I'm not a native speaker.

I got 125 on the Verbal only test of that. It's bloody hard IMO.

An I just did the other proper IQ test on that, apparently an IQ of 134... :rolleyes:
