to clarify, once you have answered a question wrong, you have to wait until 3 other people get the have asnwered wrong before being able to submit a new one.

Thus, after Kam answered, tybaltus, Ysh and Weasel all missed the answer, So Kam is free to answer ahain.

and his answer was Kauai, and, incredibly, he is correct.




now, he has answered 2 in a row, thus it is up to anyone else to choose the next catagory.

I thought so. BS, you are horrible. If I wasn't allowed to answer again, noone else would ever have tried it...

But you have to admit the fun in having people give wrong answers, when the answer was already in the thread staring at them.

Ya, well if I had been absolutely 100% positive that was the answer, and I didn't want 500 juicy points, then I might have sat back a while... But no. Is anyone going to suggest a category? I'm all warmed up now...

Anyone but kam can choose the next question. I have it set up so no one can keep answering correctly and run the board just because they are the only one online, so, after you get 2 in a row, you cannot choose the next question.

The board is on the first post of this thread, you can make selections from there, I try to take them off as soon as someone chooses one, so as not to get confusing.

I think everyone should probably have a little tutorial on the rules of Jeopardy (I know they don't have it over here, I don't know how many other countries other than the US play it)

There is a board. It has questions, in 5 subcategories, and one in each of those each of five values (100 through 500), giving a grand total of 25 questions. When one of these is picked (say Sport for 100), the option is removed from the board and the question is given. The person who gets the question gets the points allocated for that question and a chance to pick the next one.

I don't know if this clarifies the rules any more than BS did, but hey, I tried

Ok, just to clarify, cause I think the rules may be a little confusing, I wrote them late at night

Basically, the game runs like the real jeopardy, you make a choice such as "history, 400" from the board. Once I post the question, it is open to anyone to answer, first come first serve. The only time you have to wait to answer a question, is if you answer wrong, in which case you must wait til 3 other people have had a shot and missed it.

If you get the answer right, you can pick the next catagory, but only up to twice in a row, after 2 straight answers someone else gets to pick, then after the question is posted, anyone can answer.



So, Ysh chose history, but no point value, so I will just post the 100 one.
