No problem. Be sure to eat light-try soups and such. I think you can eventually make your way up to meats from there. It is all in the healing process. ;) :D

Alternately I could just go buy some more...Far easier, after having my wisdom teeth removed a few months back I've had enough of a liquid-only diet. ;)
Believe me, there is nothing more infuriating than fast-food commercials when you can't eat solids... :(

Dont remind me about wisdom teeth. I had all 4 removed on July of last year. It wasnt a whole lot of fun. I dont like novacaine. Id rather have the pain then the numbness, because I had to have ice cream, and the numbness was strong so I had no feeling in my mouth. I didnt know whether I even had the ice cream in my mouth or not. That was 12 hours I dont want to go through again.

I look at your profile-and I realize we are the same age-I guess thats why we have had our wisdom teeth removed recently.

Yeah, mine were impacted, and I had the numbness for about 2 days after. The thing is, I had my adult wisdom teeth removed, not my children's ones, so they had to remove them from inside the gums. Once my children's wisdom teeth fall out I'll just have gaps in my mouth...
I'm bloody glad I had it done under a general anaesthetic, mind you...
Did you find talking to be a problem afterwards too? For a day or so after the operation my mouth wouldn't work properly, I had to drink in little sips and couldn't talk properly...

Talking was only a problem for about 5 hours. Once the novacaine wore off, I was pretty much ok. All mine were impacted too and they were adult teeth-so they had to remove them from the gums for me, too. I dont have a big mouth, no matter what everyone else thinks. :D :p

The only problem that I really had with the operation other than the novacaine problem was I had the condition called "Dry Socket" which means the blood didnt clot properly. So a week later they had to put in medication that made my mouth taste bad for a week. Tasted like.....well medication. After that my mouth healed up fine.

my wisdom teeth experience was terrible, although, very similar to everyone elses, all four of mine were impacted, by far the worst thing for me was having gaping holes in my gums for food to get caught in.

Oh goody, wisdom teeth discussions. I had mine removed also a while back. A year ago I think, it was the last part of my orthodontic treatment, and what a way to go out also. ;)

I got my first wisdom tooth when I was 13. I was very wise at a very early age :D

I was lucky, mine healed without excessive bleeding or leaving any holes in the gums. The medicines sucked though.

Sly is back, I see.

I agree an 'Invading Slyweasel" sound more dangerous.
