Great thread idea @DW

So is the quality of the drinks awarded directly proportional to the wittiness and eruditity of the conversation made? Just
how clever would I need to be to get, say, a half of Kronenbourg?
Anyway, I think we should play a game - and one that is always likely to bring about witty reparte (*notes down in Catalogue of Cliche* - is there any
other type of reparte?) We have to pick a trashy pulp film, book, TV show, single or whatever, and assign it deliberately to someone else, who then has to make a convincing artistic
critique of the piece, telling us what it signifies, what complexly self-referential visual metaphors and bitingly ironic cinematic conventions etc are employed, and if possible, why all other art-crits are cretins for not appreciating it.

Someone else can start

You mean like Morlock does in the movie review thread?
Oh, that was mean of me. slaps herself on the cheek Bad girl, bad, bad, bad CE
You mean like Pat Bateman in American Psycho does? Have you read it, the parts about Phil Collins and Whitney Houston are hillarious

@CE If I had an immature mind, I would probably say something stupid about your first comment, but I am above that
However, are you playing the game with that second comment?

@Tyb: No, I'm absolutely not playing yet, I have no wits at all - haven't had any for a couple of days. I don't know what is wrong, it must be the combination of the heat and Warcraft 3

Its hot in Sweeden too? Over here in MA, its been about 97 degrees F, which is ??? C-I dont remember the formula!

and about 99% humidity. Its bad, fortunetly, I can take the heat. I am almost cold blooded as, I can take heat up to105 degrees F without too much problem and can go to about freezing without hardly noticing that its cold out.

@Tyb: 97F is about 36C...it's not as hot here, but is has been close to that.
The formula is:
F = (C x 1.8) + 32
C = (F - 32) / 1.8
Not very good for swift calculations in your head, but I usually count very roughly like ยด
10C = 50F
20C = a little less than 70F
30C = 85F
Physically, I take heat very well...but my intellect seems to malfunction - or maybe it is just that I can't concentrate because I don't like to sit inside.
