I assume you mean the Nishruu.
Yes, Kangaxx can improson the Nishruu, because Imprisonment ignores Magic Resistance.

On the subject of sunfire, I found this
thread.
It would seem that it is a strangely flagged spell...maybe like some of the 'white' spells?

Any spell that has a white icon.

Nope. They're just 100% resistant and their script heals them a little when you cast a spell at them.

Red spells being offensive and blue spells being defensive. White spells are 'misc' and as User has pointed out, they tend to bypass MR...casting Strength on the ravager, or improved haste on skeleton warrors for example.

Yes, he will, which is good, since he may want to imprison your pc otherwise
That's why you want
many elementals. Summon them beforehand via project image to avoid the annoying "you cannot control more than five creatures or so at a given time" message.
(The game still counts your summons even when they're imrisoned. Doh!)
Keep summoning one a round, he imprisons one a round, and takes damage from the others in the meanwhile
If you're tricky you can also throw Minute Meteors at him in the spare time.
Who needs magical weapons?

Doesn't the manual say that they are completely immune to magic?

Psst... 100% Magic Resistance is also know as Magic Immunity...
Although it
IS problematic, because you basically can't get complete magic immunity, due to the Lower Resistance spell and spells that bypass magic resistance, just like Kangaxx's Imprisonment spell.
The only way that i can think of is stacking all the possible Spell Immunities. Their duration is short, so you may need Improved Alacrity.

Ah... OK, i see what you're talking about.
You mean:
"Rakshasa : Spell Ineffective"?
Various monsters, like Rakshasas, Liches and Kangaxx for example, are immune to all spells below a certain level.
Liches are immune to spell levels 1-5, which makes them immune to Breach... Very annoying!
Kangaxx, is immune to spell levels 1-9...
But we all love those 10th level spell, don't we?

What I'm trying to say that IMO the "spell ineffective# stuff should be what you get if you cast a spell on a nishruu.
Well any way for those intresed so did I just reach the fish city, did not die once yet, only reloads I made were due to charms(god I hate them

)
So everything going along fine soon to reach level 18 and get a level 9 AND 10 spell

So you're very close to where my Kelsey is right now
What spells are you planning to take?
My picks for him were Chain Contingency and Summon Planetar.

For anyone interested.
I have reached TOB and I'm curently lvl 28 IIRC. That means almost all spells are chosen. I kick big a** so far and killed Irenicus as easy as one two three

, I think I have most of the spells needed to kill almost every one, not really sure about mellisaan yet, but I'm working on that
