Just because you post something in yellow text, Fable, it doesn't automatically become true. Please give me further references for your claims - I have never heard of "Sarah Hartwell". What is the source of this information and what proof is there for these claims?

"Historical fact" needs to be backed up by evidence and proof, Fable. Didn't you go to school?

And as for being jealous of your southern weather, for your information, firstly, I don't like hot weather and am very happy living in the climate that I live in and secondly, I don't much like smelly old Americans, especially smelly old Americans like you who are so painfully aware of having no extensive history and culture of their own so they set out to undermine the history and culture of countries that have REAL history and culture.

@Enchantress, LMAO! :D considering we are a most mongrel nation ;) I think you are just playing Fable at his own game of demanding proof, are you not? ;) I actually believe him, damned fine idea if you ask me - if you are into "rabbit" that is!

Maybe that was the case, But calling Americans 'smelly'?....I am pretty sure that most of us bathe daily whether we need to or not :D

re: Cats. They serve them here in steaming hot Tortillas, and you will think it is quite good if you don't know the difference.

Then of course you find out what you have eaten and why this Taquarilla serves food that 'You just can't get anywhere else"

At that point you run out the door and become violently ill in the parking lot :o

Believe me, it happens

@Scayde (Hi Sis *hugs*) Hmmm...but *I* consider "smelly" as an affectionate term, if I was being less polite, whilst still trying to remain inoffensive language wise, I might say stinking :p

 but surely cats have the same kind of metallic aftertaste as rabbits? Or is it that cats are strangled rather than shot full of lead? For me, it is picking all of the bones out that puts me off, I would rather a meaty shank anyday ;)

I can think of worse things to eat that would throw my gut, cat is not actually one of them :D Well cats are not slimy and bitter, at least not if they *are* anything like rabbit....

I called Fable a smelly old American and said I didn't like smelly old Americans.

I WASN'T referring to all Americans being smelly.

And I meant "smelly" in a figurative way seeing as I have never in fact smelt Fable. I meant his attitudes stink and as for being rude, he's constantly rude about the British. He started all this by posting that crap that belittled the basic dignity of the British during the War! Cats and dogs are well loved by the majority of British people.

Silly old git.

LMAO....Thanks Sis for clearing that up.
In light of your edifying comments, I now recognize the term
"Smelly American" as one of endearment :D

@Fas: I am not sure where you can find Cat Tacos where you are living, but I found one quite by accident right here in Tyler

Of course they have moved to a new location :p

@Enchantress: .........I am quite sure Grunty will be pleased to know you have not been smelling fable :D

LOL! :D Ferdy is an ok cat, from someone who is not a cat lover. George, on the other hand is a challenge to love...

BTW, he has no teeth, well hardly any, since he was hit by a car pretty bad about nine years ago. His claws are mean though, as is his temper, and he can suck you to death!!

Oh - he's gorgeous! I love him! My cat is currently taking steps towards forming a relationship with my boyfriend but they have been doing a fair bit of hissing at each other so far.

As I said earlier, Smelly Fable just enjoy's starting trouble and never misses an opportunity to attack the British in some form or another.
