Totally forgot about good ol Kuroisan... Trying to finish him with a FMT (7/8/9), a RC (8/8) and a MC (8/9). Unfortunately I managed to get CF pretty early because I installed some mod which had some pretty good eq in stores, which allowed me to beat the guarded compound but doesn't really help against this joker. I did beat him before, but with a full party at level 16+.
BTW, anyone can tell me exactly what capabilities Kuroisan has?

I've discovered that if you run away from him he will chase you later, so try to hide and do not let him get you... at least until you lvl up enough...

13th level kensai dualled to a 14th level mage. I think he has an undroppable cloak of mirroring and a ring of Gaxx. In other words he's kitted out like very many CHARNAMEs that are out there.

oh yes, finally managed to defeat him... I got a couple of prot from acid scrolls and had my CM memorise a bunch of breaches. Then I sent my super low AC FMT to distract him while I fired off all my breaches. After waiting for a while, finally got his protections to wear off and I just chopped at him until he poofed.

hmmm tough battles ay, i found the shadow dragon in the temple ruins fairly tough seens as i attempted it at low levels. Firkraag was surprisingly easy when i attempted to kill him seens as i am on chapter 6, i just went up to him with 3 characters as tanks (my own, minsc and jaheira) and 3 spell casters out of his attack rang (anoman, jan and aerie), the tanks all had dragon bane equipment and the spell casters were casting lower resistance, magic missile, doom and then anoman delivered the final blow with finger of death
i was pleased.

i put the cloak of the sewers on minsc and turned him into a mustard jelly? so i was ammune to his spells and pounded away at him aventualy and as he turned into his demi lich form i just turned my guy into the slayer and kicked his ass
oh look i got carried away... oops
