New to Morrowind
Thanks, ye lot!
I've just been to one of the most tiresome places in the history of tiresome places: Vivec. I swear, if one more mohawked moron stands in my way and calls me "scum," I'll come back in 10 levels and postalize every fascist one of them! I can just imagine the game developers sitting around after a few brews going "*giggle* ...and let's put in some really revolting cop-types who'll get in the characters way each time he wants to go through a narrow space. *harr-harr-harr* ...and let them repeat the same sentence in a really stupid voice. Let's put them in a place that involves lots of useless running over empty spaces. That'll really wind them up!"
Guess what guys, it worked.

Indeed... I have to keep resisting the urge to hack the ordinators into very small pieces... and I'm not especially violent...

lol! I just jump without the slowfall spell and it doesn't seem to hurt me too much... still need to work on being able to use my levitate spell as I'm not great in Alteration. However, I'm getting quite skilled at making some very nice potions designed to both make me rise into the air and increase my speed (better living through moon sugar )Originally posted by Gwalchmai
Vivec is a very irritating place. Thankfully, they provide levitation and slowfall spells to make it a little easier. The Boots of Blinding Speed help alot, if you can wear them.

To avoid damage, just walk off the edge.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Well if you find one of their ordinator armor suits and wear it around Vivec they will all attack you and you can kill them without any reprecussions. Good hunting!
That's right, provoke the arrogant bastards! Wear their uniform and sing "I'm so bad baby I don't care".

Mom said not to talk to strangers. I asked her what that meant and she said "anyone who looks stranger than your relatives." Except Uncle Sue. I guess. - A boy in Baldur's Gate

LOL! Now there's a plugin I would like to see: "Hit F8 and your character hums a random Motörhead lyric."
Honestly, anyone remember Neeber from the Baldur's Gate games? The annoying twit who latched on to you like a nerd fan? At least that was done with a sense of humour. The Ordinators are just bad programming IMHO. I'm staying out of Vivec until I learn to fly. Period!

With slow fall, you can sort of guide your fall to the next canton over.....Originally posted by dragon wench

"Ah, Sweet Sugar!"
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.
Yes, but then they put Neeber's annoying cousin in Trademeet...Originally posted by Moonbiter

At least, though, once you had dealt with Neeber and Noober they went off to do whatever it is that village idiots do..Originally posted by Coot

Those damn ordinators just won't go away...
Hmmm... maybe I'll try taunting one into attacking me. I'll then don his armor and go on a consequence free hunting spree as Idioteque suggests, boosting a number of my stats in the process

lol! Well see, this is my problem. I would like to go off on an anti-ordinator rampage, but when I'm playing games I have a real inability to kill things that don't attack me first...
I mean, I have tried to play as an evil character numerous times in SoA, but the closest I ever seem to get is a sort of chaotic neutral path...

Doesn't work for me, either. Sort of reflects on my personality in real life. The "playing evil" thingy only works when I'm hammered. And trust me, I'm not an Epileptic, but on my screen I'm NEVER gonna play this game while "under the influence..."
Geez, anyone got the "inspired by Morrowind" soundtrack? If you don't, then go on a search-rampage! I just got it, and though they're all laughing at me for being 2 years too late, this is bleedin mahvelous!

Don't worry - once your reputation and personality improve, so does their attitude. Now, what's REALLY annoying are mages who block doorways. Fortunately, there's a console command to fix that.

Doesn't help me since I play on Xbox, I have just have to wait for them to walk away.
