Welcome Sytze, we sure needed another writer. I'm very pleased to see our story progressing so rapidly and of the quality of writing that participants are delivering. I myself am not the greatest writer in the world and I though I would challenge myself with this little undertaking
.
I hope this turns into a epic adventure and will continue on for a long time; I will be PMing my email address out to all writers in the next day or two to allow for easier communication.
And to all who have been reading the story and would like to join please feel free; there is still room for a couple more writers.

Here is the evil character I had in mind:
Name: Rethne (ref-na)
Gender: Female
Race: Halfling cross outworlder
Class: Assassin/fighter
Alignment: Evil- generally neutral evil or lawful evil; this isn’t always obvious
Origins: Sigil city
Hair: Long, wavy black
Though she might appear to be a normal halfling from a distance, an observer might notice that, unlike other halflings, she doesn’t walk with tough bare feet. Instead she wears soft black leather boots tied with lilac laces, which, coupled with her natural smooth and lithely movements means
she makes, almost, no noise whilst walking and sneaking.
Coming closer to her, an observer would notice that she is quite different from other halflings; she is a bit taller than ordinary but has a svelte figure and flexible limbs, making her good at getting through small or awkward gaps. Her hands are silky and slender with small, nimble fingers and she moves them with an effortless grace and remarkable swiftness. Her skin is a pale white, tinged with a very slight greyish purple ness and she has clear pink veins that change to a rich purple, and sometimes violent crimson with adrenaline surges or exhilaration.
On her temples, there are faint traces of indigo that sprout down the far sides of her face like long, sinuous tentacles and even more traces that break off those ones to create a multitudinous amount patterns. Her face, rather than being round, like many halflings, is longer with high cheek
bones and she has light violet eyes with deep magenta pupils.
She wears toughened but still supple, black leather armour, embedded with round iron studs, and underneath this she wears soft padded cloth. Over her leather armour she wears dark linen clothing and, over her back, she wears a short, black cloak with interwining stripes of grey and mauve for its edges.
By her left side she has her favoured weapon; a fine steel rapier, polished to perfection and sheathed in a drow skin scabbard with silver and amethyst embossing it. The blade itself is surprisingly resiliant and flexible and bears a strange mark that can’t be looked at for long without watering the eyes. At her right side she carries a long bladed dagger; ideal for stabbing backs and slashing throats. In combat, if she uses the dagger, she holds a small red or black cloth in the dagger hand to try and disorientate her oppenent as she throws blows. Also, at her sides, there are an array of carefully weighted throwing knives hanging from her black leather and gold
buckle belt.
History: Though Rethne was born in Sigil, she holds no love for the place, especially the Mercykillers; Rethne was doing very well as a part of a very small guild that specialised in conning newcomers, making ornate buttons, selling kobalds and the odd dabbling in murder. The guild quickly crumbled when its two leaders, Seerdon and Roi, were taken away by the Mercykillers, who quickly hung Seerdon for unmentioned crimes and left Roi to rot in a prison cell for stealing from them. The Mercykillers proceeded to imprison and hang the most powerful members remaining who they claimed were guilty of heinous injustices.
With the collapse of the guild Rethne and a half-orc called Werg, being the most powerful left, took the remaining kobolds and sold them to a demon of intermediate power, who was simply called Hrogh. The demon, Hrogh, requested that they bring him more kobalds and demanded many more afterwards, then Rethne and Werg were sent to do the bidding of an ogre underling of Hrogh.
The ogre was a vile beast of huge fat ness, dripping vomit from the sides of his mouth, constantly spitting and was a complete dolt. He sent Werg away to the fighting pits and demanded that Rethne kill an umber hulk interlectual who had scammed the ogre out of all his riches. This umber hulk had, apparently, left the city with an elder beholder and was in Faerun; in the Spine of the World mountains, of course, Rethne had no intentions of trekking up to the freezing north after this umber hulk and his beholder friend for a fat, slug of an ogre. Instead she took this chance to leave the city and headed for Baldur’s gate.
Rethne spent much time in Baldur’s Gate, honing her skills and working for the shadow thieves; murder, smuggling, burglary and more. After running into some unforeseeable trouble and losing
much wealth, she sailed to Amn, where she lived low by mugging drunkards in the dark. Eventually, she came to Waterdeep where she had heard much of lazy noble men with plenty of loose coin in their pockets, however the coin wasn’t so loose and the nobles were well prepared for thieves. So Rethne has decided to set her sights elsewhere...
Whatever about the proportions(shes more a like to halfling than anything else), can she be in the party?
Nice and bloody so far but are the gladiators still being pursued by the guard or are they in the clear?
The proportion or size or anything don't really matter, but we all established physical parameters, that's all.

Taste my Leonine Fury, mortals!
I was wondering that too. The revolt thing, which seemed pretty large to me from the beginning of the story, is suddenly not an aspect of the story anymore...
It seems to me that they are finished, remember, Taren is a small town (as cipher described it) and they killed all the slavers, but still, maybe they'll go on a campain freeing all the slaves of Faerum? I don't know

This is my signature.

Yes they all went there own way exiting the fighting pit quietly to freedom. It wasn't intended to be a large scale revolt but rather a starting event to gather the party group together in one location.
If anyone has any further question or suggestions feel free to ask.
btw - yes Asriel your character was the one watching Salem and Stanislav talking at the bar.

good post Sytze, it has been posted
Has you requested and I think it would be appropriate that werebeargoddess should post next. And then followed by Ungor. After we shall start a more turn based posting system starting with Golen lion - folowed by Asriel.
If the writers would like this better, after giving you the go ahead I will leave it up to you guys/girls to post your own parts.
Any comments?
