Ahhhh, finally back in to the 40s, at least.
Me, I work in a dairy cooler (which runs from the high 40s to the mid-30s in temperature) on weekends, so I've become accustomed to the cold. Still, that's not to say that I totally spurn a furnace. It's just that such feels a bit more welcoming again.
With my adaptation to temperature, I've often been looked at as abnormal, particularly if I'm standing in 40-degree weather (not snowing or raining) in a t-shirt or a light jacket.

Well, because of the ice that seems to inevitably follow the snow (sleet) in this place I fell something like 7 times as I was walking to school this morning. Now the REALLY bad thing is that it was raining as well today, something which caused the appearence of severeal large ponds along the way.
Now guess where I landed most of the times I slipped......
That's right, in the ponds, suffice to say, it was a very cold schoolday for me today
(the temperature is still about 2 degree Celsius)

Tomorrow, they're actually forecasting partly cloudy skies and 58 Fahrenheit. Then, it's back to another week of clouds and temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Even slush sounds good, at this point.

It's been snowing all night, when I went to work this morning it looked like a Christmas postcard. -1 C, almost no wind, very pretty
The forecast for tomorrow is -9 C (about 15 F), though
Lucky I just bought a new fleece sweater.

They lied. It's still cloudy and has been for close to two weeks. And they're predicting another week of the same. I wish someone would bribe those weatherpeople to change the forecast.

It is yet another day where it never actually seems to get lighter.... In fact since about 9 am it seems to have become steadily darker.
I wish it would snow, or that we would get swaths of fog and mist so that towers and city streets are half-hidden.. Hell, at this point, I'd even like hard rain (once I am back home and no longer need to go out)... But this low, grey, overhanging stuff.. ugh..
