Ok, Goldbrand is sweet. I'm in the process of getting it. I have to wait for the thingey to be completed, before I can have this ultimate weapon.

Umm, I should know this. It's somewhere between Gnisis and AldRuhn. You find this lady that has lost her ring in the water and she asks you to get it for her. Nearby, there is a dude that has that amulet you're looking for. (He's hard to see because the amulet is in effect)

I haven't really found anything that I would consider great yet. Though I have been really very happy with the Dwarven Warhammer I found. Combined with some decent strength, it makes pretty short work out of any enemies I face. All wild animals only need one swing and most unarmored humanoid's only need one or two decent shot's. The only problem is, I can't carry a shield at the same time. But most of the time I don't need it. :D

I know where it is. Head northwest out of Gnisis and follow the road until you come to spot where you see the Dwemer bridge ahead of you. Turn right and then you are there.

For me, Its gotta be that scroll at the beginning of the game when you explore the wilderness and finda guy fall to the ground. I picked the scroll up and it said
+1000 to jump and thought, COOL. Then when I died, I thought, NOT COOL.

Still a funny item though.

@SupaCat. Well that heavily depends on your preferences, and the flameblade is just as good (allthough a bit slower) as hopesfire.
@Thomas77. You can actually wear the shield just not use it, if it has a constant effect enchantment on it you get the benefits from that.

daedric claymore - gotta love raw power ( i passionately HATE using magic in RPGs - i go with pure strength and power)

Orcish armor - on my dunmer it looks funny cuz hes so skinny and the armor is gigantic

i also like that crazy orc's sword
lol good times i remember i had to drink about 100 bottles of sujamma (aka pulling a david ortiz yeah red sox suck) to kill that crzy orc.

Favourite Item

The amulet you can get near Gnisis, that makes you invisible for 60 seconds (can't remember the name). It feels a bit like cheating, to be able to smash a really tough foe without them seeing you, but is really a life-saver.

A pity it didn't seem to work in Tribunal :(

You're referring to the amulet of shadows, arguably the most useful item in the game. But why wouldn't it work in Tribunal? It worked fine for my sneaky pc. IIRC the only restriction in Tribunal, or rather, Mournhold, is the inability to levitate.

hmmm... you all have found a very difficult topic here, as there are various trinkets and trinkers that please everyone.
Wearable: perhaps the Necromancer's Amulet. although this does tie with the Amulet's of Heart series.
Thrashable: I like to use either a glass longsword or a daedric staff. I love the noble look of the daedric staff... if indeed noble. Glass longswords are nicely light and durable for my line of work.
Stashable: I enjoy glass throwing knives...
Hackable: Orcish armor and full glass. *stares* look at the pretty armor!
Overall: any weapon is good enough for me.
ciao
