Nope, he can't drive now, not in two years. he can have sex, but not drive. isn't that the opposite of the US?

Indeed it is. A particulary puzzlesome law, too.

Anyway, I'm done spamming the birthday thread - again, happy 16, Grimar! :D

...14 according to chef from South park, ir 15 I don't remember. US drives at like 16 no memories of age limits and whatnot.

Happy Birthday Grimar! :D

I'm pretty sure the driving age for the U.S. is 16. I think you can get your learner's permit at 15, then deiver's license at 16.

Driving age depends on the state in the U.S. Some of the southern states have ages younger than 16, I can't remember if they only go as low as 15 or if one may be 14 though..

It is backwards, but it DOES make sense. It's far easier to harm someone with a 2 ton vehicle hurtling down a highway at high speeds than it is to drop your pants with another human being, am I right? I wouldn't be opposed to switching the laws to how it is across the atlantic. It might save huge amounts of money for young drivers on insurance, and young males on lawyers fees for those naughty younger females hitting on them.
