You shoud read the despricption of Tenser's Transformation and Offensive Spin.
You should see Righteous Magic and Draw Upon Holy Might.
But this discussion can go on and on, both simply have their ups and downs. Make no mistake though, I'm a huge fan of Dalis. With the right equipment and spells he mops the floor with almost anyone. However, so can Jaheira.

True enough.
But why not give your own a list of actions for Jaheira?

Now you lost me indeed. You came up with tensers and offensive spin, a combo that gives Dalis a better THACO, AC, more hitpoints, more damages with each hit and more attacks. So I put Righteous Magic versus that, together with Draw Upon Holy Might. Jaheira has more attacks per round to begin with, since she's a fighter/druid, plus the two priest spell I just mentioned give her a huge boost in hitpoint, AC and strenght too, which in turn adds more bonuses to damage than Dalis.
Actually, after reading tensers and offensive spins discription and comparing that to Righteous magic, I must say that that spell alone holds its ground more than well. Add Draw Upon Holy Might to that and these two priest spells outclass tensers and offensive spin on every level, except that it doesn't add extra attacks per round.
Edit: darn it, you edited your post while I was typing.

Actions: Ironskin, then either Righteous Magic or Insect Plague, probably RM first. It then depends on what Dalis does. If he keeps casting, I would buff Jaheira some more. If Dalis casts Tenser, I would probably still let her cast a few spells more, summon a fire elemental perhaps, until her ironskin wears out. The downside for Dalis, is that he can't cast spells while in tenser mode and offensive spin does not last as long as RM. So if she holds on until his stoneskin/protection from magic weapons protections wear out, Dalis is a goner. However, Dalis' abilties lay in the first rounds, in which he's untouchable and incredible strong.

I've been trying out a party consisting of a blade with backup of an assassin, and whoa, I have really not given the blade the credit he deserves.
So far I'm just at lowlevel though - around 700k and just making those pretty easy quests - but when wielding FoA and that axe you find at nalia's place, together with off. spin, iron skin, mirror image and draw upon holy might, this guy's a power house. No one can touch him and he dishes out a great deal of damage, just as Astafas said he'd do ^^.
Quite lot of resting is required though - when he's out of spells and spins he really isn't something to be counted with. I'm thinking of going something like AoU in main hand and Crom Fayer in offhand. That could be real nice.

Just for fun, I tried this one-on-one out... it lasted about ten seconds.
H'd tried a fireshield, blur and animate dead, then offensive spin and charged.
Jaheira tried an insect plague which didn't affect him (?), then conjure fire elemental and harm.
One hit was all it took. H'd went down to 1 hp and I didn't need to see more.
At any time, J could cast that spell (even as spell #1) and since she has a fighter's thaco, has a greater chance of hitting H'd.
A clear advantage is that priest spells are automatically available, whereas the mage spells have to be hunted down and memorized. I think any veteran of the game could make any character a powerhouse, though.

Jeesus, you totally forgot to throw the right spells - haven't you read the earlier posts on this thread? You should at the very least start with Stone Skin and Tenser's...

Kams, why don't you try it out?

I fear, however, that if Dalis goes on the offensive right away (after both having cast Iron- and Stoneskin) with spells such as magic missiles, acid arrow and dispell, Jaheira might have a problem. He can disrupt her spellcasting easier than she can his. Therefore, I think you should let them go head to head with all the buffs activated. That's how you go into battle too, non?

If I was using Jaheria, the first spell I would cast is insect swarm. That way, H'd can't cast anymore spells except the first one he casts. Then Jaheria can beat him up using Melee because he won't have Tensers.

Well, as has been stated earlier on this thread, H'D may interrupt her spellcasting before she gets it off. Furthermore, even if Jaheria starts casting right away H'D will have time to raise Stone Skin, after which he is protected from the insects until Tenser's is cast.

Druids can cast Righteous Magic, but they can't cast Draw Upon Holy Might (just as Clerics can't cast Ironskins).
