Right! Exactly what I ne... ARGH! <taking the sword in the chest, making his saving throw>

Nice ... <cough> .. throw, Lucian! I ... <argh> ... I think ... <cough, cough> ...

<Lucian pulls the sword free, and immediatly casts a Cure Serious Wounds>

Thanks! Next time, be a *little* bit more careful, okay? Leave the sword in its scabard when you throw it, for instance! Image Image

whew. good thing you had your paladin bonus saving throws +2 to all saves.

*shakes his head* only a cure serious wound..paladins can only reach the 4th level of cleric spells..and with the cap in bg2 i can only cast it once on you...but..since im a cavalier..i have lay on hands *lays his hands on Maurice's chest..healing 34 points of HP's*

Stupid me ... my Paladin instinct popping up to step into the line of fire in hopes of saving an innocent soul ... but this soul was not innocent, and cannot be saved anyway as it seems. My mistake as well ... but you need to practice; it was just a flesh wound (one with blood gushing all over the place, but nothing a decent Lay-Upon-Hands could not handle ...) Image

Or Bush, depending on who you support of course ... I'm glad I'm European, and can get a good laugh out of that entire comedy over there! Image

yeah..im euro too..my vote is for gore..bush is not likeable...he goes for executions..having blocked laws for improving the safety of those on the death row..and is in the pocket of the american weapon industry..blocking laws for restricting guns, despite all the school massacres..gore may be dry in personality..but i think he is the best choice

Yup, so do I. From a Paladin point of view, executions are a baaaaaaaaaaaad thing (unless absolutely proven and necessary), since they can't be reversed. It has happened too often in the past that an innocent has been executed ... and that only afterwards they figured the person was really innocent.

Also with all those killings we hear about here in Europe, we are pretty much surprised guns are still allowed by law ...

Yeah Bush would be a Dark Paladin.
That brings up a question: How should a Dark Paladin be played?
Can he use nasty tricks in battle (like poison etc) or must he fight with honor. People who know the world of Dragonlance know a good answer to this question Image

lord soth is a good example of a dark paladin..he follows the code of his old order..but it is to spite them..and he are dedicated to following the ways of darkness..completely a self centered creature

the chaos chronicles <still dragonlance> was an interesting read....where lord ariakan of the dark army was tasked with finding out why the forces of darkness lost every war...and came to the conclusion that it was because they pillaged..random violence and just being plain bad guys..and got the populace against them..fostering heroes that they rallied around..so as the new leader..he ordered that his army should be orderly..and took the solamnic knigths as a model to mold his army after..but one that was dedicated to takhisis..so the order of dark paladins was born there

but im pretty disappointed with how they practically 'castrated' the dragonlance setting in the end of the chaos chronicles...the dragon lance novels was the first fantasy novels i ever read..and have been hooked on such a setting ever since..forgotten realms..ravenloft..you name it..im thinking they wanted to shorten the number of campaign worlds in preparation for third edition of ad&d

Maurice when i came though school it was settled with fist.My sister who was 3 years behind me , they settle stuff with knifes(she didn't because she knew that wasn't right). My wife who was 8 years behind me ,they settle stuff with guns.(I will have to watch her Image )I personally don't own one, but i cannot see banning guns.A person who wants to commit a crime will, with or without a gun,so should they give up theres and let every crimnal know they can go in any house and take what they want without having to worry..(This person might own a gun) Bush and Gore both care about only one thing There self.Do i know what's wrong with my country.I can tell you one thing wrong that nobody else will it's called PAST THE BUCK.
