Well, frostreaver and stonefire, with azuredge in your pocket for range attacks. This gets you two +3 weapons, with 3 types of elemental damage per round.

Once you get into watcher's keep, the axe of the yielding becomes a good off-hand weapon for the regeneration and ac bonus, and it should stay there until it gets upgrade to +5.
Ah, that is where you are incorrect. In fact; a ring of human influence can save you seven-odd attribute points that can be put in to other things, for example, having a CHA of 13, and a DEX of 15, is no where near as good as having a CHA of 5, and a DEX of 18, and then quite a bit more in CON. This is obviously going to help you quite a lot when facing area affect spells, something that a ring of spell truning won't do. However, in case you havn't noticed, you can use both at the same time. ;)
But this is the exact thing I (and chuch apparently, good call on NWN dude ;) ) disagree with: it removes the rp element entirely. Ach, maybe I'm just being grouchy but still...

Naturally, i would never do this when RPing, in fact, i'm rather insulted that you'd actually mention it. ;)

I only ever use cheap tactics like this when power-gaming, which is what i am doing right now.
