#1: I need to regenerate magicka
I tried eating restore, but it did nothing ... I read the Alchemy site provide by Mr_Sir(... thanks), but I see no "regeneration"; just fortify; fortify maximum; restore
I guess I have to mix, not eat what I aleady found ?
Which mix is best ?

Check out the PlanetElderScrolls site, and do a search in their Morrowind mod database on "regenerate" or "magicka." There are at least 5 or 6 different mods that, when run, will regenerate your magicka (and that of your enemies!) at differing rates. Just pick one of them, and see if you find it too fast or too slow for your liking.

Fable - if I "mod", will that wipe out my save games ?

Not that mod, no. There are potential incompatibilities between a very few mods, but any of those I've recommended don't conflict with anything else. Nor should they have any effect on a saved game. They'll simply change the way your character deals with magicka when not expending any.

Azura's star. (The Soulgem) Can be obtained through a quest.
Daedric and Dwarven ruins can be found all over the place. I'd have a look in the the North eastern regions as there are lots of ruins there.

If you have good alchemy then look at the ingriedients you have.find four ingriedients that have restore magicka then use them in a potion that should give you a good restore magicka potion.either that or almost all apothecaries have plenty of restore magicka potions and i'm sure that they won't mind you *cough cough*borrowing *cough* some. :D as for azura's star i still havent found that myself but when i do i'll gie you the full layout how to get there.

It's right at the top of the page. This is a walkthrough so if you want to work it out by yourself don't look.

.. thanks guys
I found the Dwarven Ruins ... I like that those mechanical things respawn(... been thru it several times - found a slave key, but no slaves ?) ... much easier leveling up here than the Daedric Ruins(... been there once; won't go back till I'm stronger)
Finally some money = me and the Creeper are "buddies"
I unloaded all my non-essential stuff in a crate next to him ... I'm guessing Caldera is a good spot to make home base

I'm going to copy all those Health/Magicka ingrediants down tonight.
I've got $, time to up my Alchemy.

I did find the shortblade trainers; right there in Balmora ... I thought the place was a jail

I won't peek = I like to roam
I'm sure I'll find Azura sooner or later.
I'm sure there are better soul gems, but I doubt I can afford them.
But, I need to do something because I've run into "too many" magic resistant enemies :-(

Guess I better up my shortblade/unarmored/agility.

If your enemy is resistant just buy a spell with weakness to magic and combine it with your attack spell.
