Weasel: Well...there is that...
But is charisma the affect we have on the opposite sex, or everybody? Were the cops male or female for you?

@Viv, now there's a point. Suppose the cops were all same-sex? Or the other sex? Or some hitherto undisclosed third sex? How do we illustrate such divisions in the charisma rating?

Boy, I love serious philosophical discussions like this.

I can say I have never had the pleasure of being stopped by a female cop. :D Really don't want to be stopped by any cops at all. :D Bad for my insurance. :(

Well...this is me.

Charisma: 18 (persuasion is my art)

Intelligence: 17 (I can be quite bright if the situation arises)

Dexterity: 16 (I have a good hand action...)

Constitution: 14 (not normally too sickly)

Wisdom: 14 (Can be a bit daft)

Strength: 9 (Aerie would beat me at arm-wrestling) :D

Before I was married, I charmed my way out of a ticket with a female officer. The next time wasn't so good.

My stats:

STR: 10 (I'm small and weak. )
DEX: 18 (10 years of classical ballet training and cliff climbing does that to you)
CON: 16
INT: 18
WIS: 3 (I have no common sense, no sense of balance and virtually NO saving throw against charm. ;) )
CHA: 18? (I am very good at convincing people they want to do what I want them to do. Also, I often get cheaper prices in shops and services like haircut, laundry, etc, but only by male staff. )

I ought to be a bard, ick, my least favoured class to play.

@C Elegans, how do you achieve your results with male staff, though? I mean, do you con them with speech, or smile, or use clothes to good effect, or is it tone of voice? Only some of these are inately charismatic.

@Fable: Eh...how would you know? I don't think my clothes matter, it seems to happen equally often whatever I'm wearing. I don't need to talk a lot to make it happen either.

I thinks it's a combination of superficial look and "nice smile". Is that CHA or some other abilityt?
