Which day?
Yeah, I realize that and my choice is still firm and without hesitation.
What about Wednesday next week?

I'll work on it, though most of my mountain pictures will be a few years old.

Shush Nips! I'm trying to eavesdrop in a way I can meet with the two of them unexpectantly!

@ Saturn
Your dog is adorable
@ Nippy Theos huge, if he stands on his hind legs he's almost as tall as I am. He's about 80 lbs between 35 and 40 kg
The female is 55 lbs or a bit under 25 kg. I know what you mean about the age. She's 12 or 13 and he's 2 years younger, I'm going to be completely devastated when I lose one
Gwally I never mentioned them??? I'm shocked
@ CE thanks again, I love the sepia toned pic of you

I'm sure if you had, I would have told you all about mine!
Gosh, I miss him. Its been 4 years, and I still can't bear to think of getting another. I should have gotten another before hand, so that he could have helpped train the new one, that way at least the new one would have some similar manerisms. Oh, well. Its horrible to lose a pet, but I am a better person for having had him!

Benji's about 12-years-old, too and startin' to suffer from old age. Stiff joints, lack of energy, and all that. He's a Shi-tzu, but we have to keep his hair short because we don't have the time or money to keep him groomed and looking nice, and we don't want the same thing to happen to him that happened to our Lassa Opso(sp?) back in the 80s...damn, that's been a long time.
Personally, I prefer cats, though, so I won't be quite as devestated when Benji eventually dies as I'd be if my cat Zebedee died...
I had a dog once, I don't remember what type, but he grew fast. By the time he was a month old, he was bigger than I was at the time and I was 6- or 7-years-old. If he stood on his hind legs and put his front paws against a person, without even trying he could easily knock down a full grown man. He was also very playful, which, because of his size made him a bit dangerous so we had to get rid of him.

Luckily Theo doesn't jump much, he'd knock me over ;D He likes to play tug and we'll drag each other around the living room
He also cheats, he grabs the end of his tug rope right below where I hold it
then if I let go he runs and hides with it

LOL One of the dogs I had growing up liked to chase tennis balls. She would be so paranoid that someone would steal her ball, she'd drop it in the water dish when she got a drink, then come and set the soggy nasty thing in your lap
Yuck!
