Yes, this was a bit sticky. I didn't know if Georgi had something planned as far as saying goodbye to Loner, so I didn't want to drag her character along with me. Later, since nothing happened, I supposed that at some time "off-stage" the following happened: Thantor received some sort of ki message from Loner, he excused himself, Georgi saw him out, he asked her if she wanted to go with him, she said she had already said goodbye, so he left alone. That is reasonable, isn't it?

And look -- it avoided a big hairy scene between Georgi and Thantor, which no one really *wanted* to happen, did they?

Well, I didn't have anything planned because I thought that since you had set up that flashback thing, Georgi, Thantor et al were battling the abomination at the time L&K were leaving, and the stuff in the keep must have happened previously.

But I'm told it was a flashforward rather than a flashback, so I'll let you off that one

But Georgi had no way to have known about it, and even if she had, then she probably would have mentioned it to Thantor so he wouldn't have had to be contacted by ki signal. And she would have been in a sad mood if she had known.

I have been thinking (with a little help -- that goes without saying

) that it may be helpful to the focus of the storyline if we could all come together to work on a specific quest, something we could all participate in. That way there could be more of a balance between action and character development. We have the drow uprising, the Abomination thing, the mystery of the ruins, the mystery of what killed the Tarsque (sorry, spelling), and general Shadow Master mischief. Ideas, comments?

Viv's at the castle, going to go with any who want to do anything. I like all of those, but also in the future sometime maybe work on city intrigue. I've a few ideas

I agree. After all, we already have Simbul arrived to drag Thantor et al off to fight it, and the flashforward and stuff. Also I believe Thantor promised Anicka he would help her rescue the other paladins.

I did no such thing. I promised that she could have her way with Gwally for one night (and maybe Harry and Nippy if she was very good), but that was it.
