Ow! Why does everyone keep hitting me? :(
There arent boulder fairies that push things over at midnight.

There aren't? Curses! I was going to recruit a few, think of their potential strength. :D

Okay, Erosion. By wind and water, the magical agents of boulder removal...

Hi Juni :)

My computer lives it's own life
I wondered why my resolution was different, then got to display -settings and noticed that it had changed to 800*600 from 1280*1024. But at the same time noticed that when earlier the 1280*1024 res was max I could get, now I can set my res to 2048*1536   . And I haven't installed anything!
Also when I don't have mu wireless internet connected (read: the USB terminal isn't plugged to my comp) autoupdate still runs and even downloads (or the %-number is increasing all the time)

Spooky...

Maybe Windows decided you now have a 'default monitor' and it doesn't know the capabilities. My PC thinks it has 2 monitors connected, even after removing one from the settings several times  :D
Also explains why the res. changed on yours. Check System Properties.

Yes, but why it suddenly has started to recognize resolutions about 2048*1536??
I has never before recognized resolutions of that kind!

Because it could say it's a generic monitor. So it now has no idea what it's capable of. The setting probably wouldn't work if you tried it- Out of Range. Not that's it's wise to try such things anyway. And if you did it'd probably revert after 15s.

Said I'd think up some... anything better than Locke says. :p ;)

See what you think:

A) Spamtress
B) Inspirationess
C) None of the above *Ravager goes back to the drawing board :( *

They're not very good names, but it's a start :p

Okay, okay, but still, why did it then still accepted 32 bit colours? IIRC 256 colours (maybe even 16 bits but I don't think so) is the maximum for display settings if that what you said really happened.

Can you just go check your System Properties instead of arguing with me?! :D ;)

The reason: Because it's Windows. It's a Microsoft product. It doesn't need to be logical... :p

Checked, and everything is in order... except I'm still getting possibility to use that strangely-high-resolution.
