Not so here. They lock at pre-set times, Most of them anyway.

Must force myself to be less emotional

@Georgi:
They are completely different. Deranged means insane... depraved, on the other hand, means morally corrupt or wicked.

Hmmm...I had no idea there was a difference between the two. ;) Of course, this might bring up the ages old debate of "who defines what normal is, anyway?" :D

ok, ok, you're right. My advancing age is creeping up on me. *sigh*
Do you think that will happen within the next week or so? Because I do need this job before I leave the country... I firmly believe that my parents would throw me out of the house if I stopped jobhunting, then I would be unemployed and homeless.

Well, not that I would *ahem* endorse such a thing, but I believe that CE had a pretty good idea of how you could raise funds very quickly... ;)

I was homeless, once. It wasn't any fun, either. :(

btw, when are you leaving for Oz?
Now that you mention it, I must have been mistaken. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone...

It's nice being vindicated. Thanks. You're much too kind. :D

Liar. :p Well you see why I would take issue with being called deranged? :D

Yes, but CE has never seen me in a bikini. And I certainly don't think I would raise any money that way. ;)

:( No, I imagine it wouldn't be... *hug*

The first weekend in August.
It's nice being vindicated. Thanks. You're much too kind.
Probably because it's such a rare event. :D Oh, you won't be saying that when I demand compensation... Image

Oh yeah? Well just wait until you're old, you young whippersnapper! :p I most certainly do. Why, I used to be become rather indignant with my mother when she would accuse me of taking cookies (biscuits to you brits) from the cookie jar. Of course, I didn't realize that there were crumbs all over the front of my shirt... ;)

Yes, there most certainly is a difference between the two, I concede. humbly apologizes for even insinuating that Georgi is deranged... ;)

Having never seen a pic of you, I wouldn't know. Not important, anyway. :) However, you know how shrewd CE is... :D

As always, your graceful overlooking of faults fills me with such a giddy warmth. :D Uh-oh.

But you will still be older... elderly, even :p :D Hmmm, I'm not sure I like the way that analogy is heading...

I should think so too! :D

You mean you couldn't be bothered to wade through all the detritus of the Post Your Photos thread to see what your fellow SYMians look like? ;) I don't blame you. :D Hmmm, maybe the fact that CE thinks the SYMians would pay money for that says more about them... :D
!!!
???

@Dottie I think you know the answer to that question. Who's responsible for everything? Weasel, of course! :D

True... perhaps someone seemingly innocent, but actually devious... the kind of person who might secretly be a stalker, for example... :D

Hmmm, well I suppose it depends on your exact definition of secretly... :D Of course, a stalker in denial could be a good scapegoat too... :p

Your saying plain for all to see is a possible definition of secretly? :D Suprisingly I wasnt thinking along that line at all. Besides Im not good enough at sucpisiosly shifting blame to be a scapegoat.

No, especially since I'm going to be away for a week at the end of June... It also means that it is more difficult to get a job, since nobody wants to train someone who isn't sticking around for very long...

Don't worry, having Fable around means I'm used to that kind of grumpy old man behaviour :D *confiscates Chanak's cane* :p Hmmm, I'm not sure how much of a lesson that would teach you... :D

Well ummm, no, but being a stalker does imply some kind of furtive behaviour... :D It's a good job somebody was then... :p But that's what makes you such a good scapegoat... all you have to do is sit there and take it.

I see what you mean. Not that you're looking for sympathy, but *hug* I understand. I know how it feels to look and look and look for a job. How long will you be gone to Oz?

Oooh! I'm impressed...he's even older than I am! *reaches for a can of mace* I've got more tricks up my sleeves, impertinent young one!

Asks the man with the blackened text... :D I know what you implied, I was choosing to ignore it. :D It depends whose fun you're talking about really, doesn't it...

Thanks *hug* :) I went to some temp agencies the other day, but they apparently already have lots of people on their books who have more experience than I do  Theoretically, a year - that is how long my visa lasts, anyway. :D

There are quite a few people who are... I won't name names, they tend to get grumpy when you point out such things. :D Fable, however, is older than the mountains... :D Tch tch, don't you know that only the staff in this Home of the Depraved are allowed to carry mace? :D
