Don't have a brand name machine. I built this one. I called the support line for my internet provider, and that's where I was put on hold. I figured whatever was wrong with my connection is

Most of the time, they always blame my modem. and so far, my modem has never been the cause. This area does have a history of phone noise though.
Most of the time, it's like they just drop my connection, and when I re-dial, the remote host won't respond. It gets to be a pain after awhile....but....in about 2 weeks.....I go for DSL

Its a shame, i will be a model poster for the next month....religious piety and all doesnt allow me to curse, fight or destory taverns.....really shame....
